"You actually haven't died yet, and you've wiped out all the remaining offspring. I should have come to deal with you first—these two tier four candidates could have waited until the end."
Under Priest Kahn's command, the two freshly mutated tier four monsters emitted agonized roars.

But even tier four spiritual energy users struggled to survive the Spider God Cult's schemes. After all, the tier four spiritual energy users in the City of Sin had long been implanted with Spider God Eggs by the cult. Before the ritual began, they had already been mutated into monsters obedient to the Spider God Cult.
Under the combined assault of Kahn and the two tier four mutated monsters, they could only transform into monsters.

Priest Kahn tilted his head, staring at Lin Ye. Beneath his skin, silk strands crawled and shifted.
"The ritual isn't over yet. I suspect they're all part of the ceremony, so you can't possibly spare them. As for becoming a deity—I hate spiders, and I certainly don't want to become a spider nest."
Lin Ye flatly refused. The Spider God sounded weak—who knew which backwater mountain deity it was? He was valuable merchandise.
"Then there's no helping it. Since you're unwilling to become a host, you can only serve as experimental material. Whether you become a spider nest or not isn't your decision to make."
Under Priest Kahn's command, all four tier four Mutation Creatures charged at Lin Ye simultaneously.
"You don't actually think you're the only one who can conduct rituals, do you? You should know—even among deities, there are disparities."
What should you do if you accidentally stumble into someone else's chessboard?

Within moments, a flesh giant bearing some resemblance to Lin Ye appeared where he had been standing.
The flesh giant pushed open the church dome, casually grabbed one of the approaching tier four mutated monsters, and tore it in half amid the creature's piercing shrieks.
"Now, who gets to make the decisions?"
The flesh giant revealed a bloody smile toward the priest, emitting Lin Ye's voice from its mouth.
"...Damn cultist! A second-tier tearing apart fourth-tiers? What kind of monster are you worshipping? You're forcing my hand!"
Priest Kahn turned and prostrated himself on the ground, speaking to a black-robed figure behind him:
"Great Divine Emissary, the ritual has been disrupted and cannot proceed. Please directly initiate the final steps!"
The figure removed its hood, revealing a youthful face.
"Sophie?! How could you join the Spider God Cult?!"
Seeing the figure's face, Lily emitted an incredulous cry of disbelief.
The Spider God Cult's Divine Emissary completely ignored Lily, paying no attention to the Heavy Blow the flesh giant was throwing her way either. She looked up toward the sky, where a large number of pure white silk strands descended from above.
A tier four mutated monster moved to block Lin Ye's punching path, only to be smashed apart by Lin Ye. This was Lin Ye's first time controlling such a gigantic flesh mutation body, and he couldn't smoothly change attack targets yet.
The silk strands fell to the ground, covering the Divine Emissary and the other cultists including the priest.
The mutated monsters didn't escape either—all were swept into the silk.
Vast quantities of silk coiled together, forming a gigantic white egg-shaped object.
Lin Ye adapted to his new body while quickly moving near the egg-shaped object, forcefully tearing at the silk.
However, before he could exert force, the silk strands crawled along the flesh giant's arm toward its body.
Lin Ye moved diagonally forward while using his left hand to coil around most of the silk strands. Then he exerted full body force, driving his right fist into the egg-shaped object.
Thump!
The egg-shaped object shook violently from the impact, but the silk proved incredibly resilient, absorbing and dispersing the majority of the fist's force.
Meanwhile, scattered silk strands had already pierced into the flesh giant's body, beginning to squirm through the flesh as they attempted to locate Lin Ye's position.
Lin Ye rapidly retreated. Temporarily lacking a method to deal with the silk, he could only distance himself from the egg-shaped object and first address the silk within his body.
The four observers inside the church watched in stunned silence. Both sides' explosively escalating combat power had completely eliminated any opportunity for them to intervene, leaving them no choice but to hide and wait for the battle's conclusion.
Lily looked sorrowfully at the pure white egg-shaped object—her friend might never return.
After dealing with the silk inside his body, Lin Ye didn't rush forward to continue fighting. He refused to believe this flesh giant crafted by deity power could only swing its fists wildly.
This body definitely possessed additional special functions—he just hadn't learned to use them yet.

Lin Ye stared intently at the egg-shaped object. The moment it hatched would be when he made his move.
