"Wow...this might be the best chicken burger I’ve ever had. Are the buns straight-up garlic bread? That’s fucking genius," Jaden sighed contently, a crunch echoing out as he took a big bite.

"No, not exactly. We just slathered on garlic butter to the insides of the buns and then toasted them. And we added a bit more garlic butter after toasting," Aria informed him with a grin.

"That sounds incredible...and it tastes even more incredible. The garlic’s definitely going to make my breath stink, but I don’t care. And speaking of garlic, this sauce is amazing too," Responded Ciel, reaching out for a steak strip, dipping it in the garlic butter sauce before biting into it.

"I think these loaded fried are my favorite. I love fries, I think they’re the best snack ever, and these are just on another level. So crispy and crunchy on the outside, and nice and soft on the inside. Plus, whatever you mixed in them really adds to and enhances the favor perfectly," Remarked Cleo, as she shoveled a large handful of the fries into her mouth.

"Glad you’re all enjoying it, but don’t forget to save some room for dessert," I replied with a wry smile.

Hm, might be a bit too late to say that now, seeing that the savory food we set out is almost entirely gone now.

Oh, well, whatever.

I glanced up as I took a puff of a joint, exhaling before taking a deep gulp from my glass of juice, letting a relaxed sigh...ahh, that’s so refreshing.

"Mm, good point...both the cake and pudding look amazing. Ohh, wait! I wanna try mixing both of them together!" Exclaimed Ciel with a gleam in her eyes, the whites of her eyes fully red.

Yeah, she’s definitely stoned, I doubt she’d have suggested that if she was sober. I doubt anyone would.

"Maybe try them individually first," Suggested Aria, letting out a bemused giggle.

"Hm, good call. Now that the savory stuff is running out, I’m really starting to crave something sweet," Grinned Ciel, finishing off her burger before reaching for one of the remaining steak strips.

"Heh, same. The juice you guys made is a nice balance of sweet and tangy, but the sweetness is pretty subtle. I want some SUGAR!!!" Jaden laughed heartily.

"You’ve got sauce all around your mouth, here," Remarked Cleo with an amused smile, handing him a tissue.

"Oh, thanks, appreciate it," He grinned sheepishly.

"You missed a spot. Or three," I chuckled in response.

"Heh, guess I was eating too fast. Can’t help it though, it’s all so good!"

"Honestly, I was a bit worried we’d made a bit too much, so I’m pretty happy to see the way you guys have polished it all off," Chimed in Aria with a smile.

"Yeah, what she said," I nodded in agreement.

"Well, I probably would’ve tapped out by now if I were sober. But thanks to the munchies, I feel like I can keep going, even though I’m already pretty full," Responded Cleo, eyeing the cake as we finished off the last of the savory food.

"Same here. And on that note, let’s dig in! Check it out, guys...I’ll use my telekinesis to cut the cake and pudding into ten equal pieces! Here I go," Grinned Jaden, raising his right hand towards the desserts.

The cake got cut into even slices, before the pudding, which was in a rectangular dish, was cut into ten squares.

He then used his telekinesis to float five plates up, before loading two cake slices and two pudding pieces onto each plate. The plates then floated out and landed in front of each of us, along with a pair of forks and spoons.

"Wow, nice, maybe you’ve got a future as a waiter," Smiled Cleo, before eagerly picking up her spoon and scooping up a chunk of pudding.

"Haha, yeah, maybe! It’s cool that you’re more comfortable around us now, you were a total stuttering mess before," Recalled Jaden with a chuckle.

"Come on, I can’t help it, I’m like that with everyone, I struggle to talk around people I don’t know well. Normally, it would’ve taken a lot longer, but it seems like stressful situations help me talk to people normally a lot faster. And we went through a literal life or death battle together, so that was plenty stressful," She replied with a wry smile.

Yeah, I’d say that’s a bit of an understatement.

"I was right! Both the cake and pudding are amazing on their own, but combining them is on another level!" Declared Ciel with her mouth full, a smear of whipped cream across the left corner of her mouth, before she promptly licked it up.

"How’d you guys get the cake so soft and moist? It’s the perfect texture," Remarked Jaden, as he took a big bite of cake.

"We poured just a little bit of milk into each layer, it made a bigger difference than we expected," Responded Aria with a smile.

"This is honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The food itself is amazing, and being around you guys makes it even better, I’m having so much fun. Sorry, I guess that’s kinda corny, huh?" Smiled Cleo sheepishly.

"Nah, I don’t think so. Having fun is exactly what we set out to do, and I think it’s safe to say we’ve definitely succeeded," Replied Jaden, before stuffing his face with pudding, letting out a content hum.

"And we’re just getting started. We’ve still got a good amount of booze and joints left, we have all our snacks too. Though, not sure we’ll be able to eat any of it...I don’t know about you guys, but I’m almost at full capacity," Sighed Ciel, picking at the remainder of her dessert plate, a small chunk of cake and a bit of pudding.

She chopped up the cake into smaller bits with her fork and mixed it with the pudding, before scooping it onto her spoon, stifling a burp.

"Yeah, I’m in the same boat," Nodded Cleo wryly.

"Heh, I blew past my limit a while ago," Added Jaden.

"Well, we’re in no rush to leave, are we? We’ve got plenty of time to digest and free up a bit more room," I pointed out with a grin.
