Chapter 605: The Apostles’ Reward (Part 3)

"<Oh, and I got chills when it kicked up a notch, the music was so good, and the ground turned into cubes, and everyone was moving so fast>!" Exclaimed Ira with an excited grin.

"Yeah, that was a god tier fight, the animation was amazing. Looks like you’ve found your new favorite series," I replied with a smile.

"<Mhm, I think so! Don’t spoil anything, but are there more fight scenes like that one>?"

"There sure are, and quite a lot. There’s still plenty of action left in the series," I nodded, his expression brightening.

"<Oh, that’s awesome! Hm...should I get back to it now, or save it for another day? A part of me wants to let that last episode really sink in before I continue with the rest of the series...but another part of me just wants to keep going>," He grinned sheepishly.

"Hm, in that case...how about rewatching that last arc again for right now, and then continue the series tomorrow?" I suggested, after mulling it over for a moment.

"<Hey, that’s a good idea, Chief! Alright, see you later>!" He responded, before heading back to Aria’s place to continue.

"<Master! What do we do about the government nanobots in the drinking water, they’re spying on us and-...>!"

"That’s another conspiracy theory, Avaritia, it’s not real," I responded with a sigh.

"<Oh. Never mind, then>."

Yeah, definitely need to address that sooner rather than later. I can’t believe how deeply she’s delved into that part of the internet in such a short time, it’s kinda scary.

"<Hey, Daddy, could you resummon me? I’m totally drained, but I still wanna goon a bit more>," Remarked Luxuria, as the door to the rec room opened and she poked her head out.

"Wait, you’ve been at it this whole time?" Chimed in Aria, as she strolled out of the bedroom, stretching her arms up.

"<Yeah, I’ve been exploring some new categories. Some were pretty weird and not really all that appealing, but I think I’ve found some real gems, wanna keep going>," She grinned with a bright gleam in her eyes.

It’s past 10 PM already, just how long does she plan on masturbating? Some of the others have already tapped out for the day, satisfied and content.

Gula had her fill a couple of hours ago, Superbia returned from the Union shortly afterwards, and Acedia wanted to sleep, so I withdrew the three of them.

As for the rest, Luxuria’s been in the rec room all day until just now, Ira spent the day binging anime, though he did take a few breaks to come talk about it with me, Avaritia seems to be digging herself deeper into the tunnel of conspiracy theories, and Invidia-...oh, speak of the devil.

"<Hey, Bosh, I’m back! Might’a partied a bit too mush>," He grinned as he strolled in through the front door, very visibly drunk as he swayed and stumbled through the entrance.

"Hey, welcome back. Seems you had fun, just hope you didn’t cause any trouble," I greeted him with a wry smile.

"<Heh, no worriesh, I wash jusht chilling with my buds at a club, no commotionions caushed>," He replied with a thumbs up.

"Glad to hear it," I replied, giving him a pat on the shoulder.

"<Mhm...you can withdraw me now, Bosh. Feelsh like imma pash out shoon anyway>," He responded, letting out a slight hiccup.

"Sure, let me know when you wanna go out again, rest up for now. <Withdraw, Apostle of Envy: Invidia>," I chanted, his body dissipating and flowing back into me.

"<So, um...could you withdraw and resummon me, Daddy? I’m not done yet, so-...>," Began Luxuria eagerly.

"Think you’ve indulged enough for today. Come with me, I’d like to have a little chat," Remarked Aria, grabbing Luxuria’s wrist and dragging her away, before adding, "Oh, and put some clothes on."

"<Ugh, fine...>," She grumbled, creating a dress with Negative Energy.

Okay, that just leaves Ira and Avaritia. It’ll probably be a couple of hours before Ira’s done watching that anime for today, so I’ll leave him be.

As for Avaritia...

"What are you upto?" I asked her, as I walked over.

"<Oh, hey, Master. I am just reading this, it’s a detailed account of the war. It covers everything starting from when the Dungeons first appeared, I’m finding it quite fascinating>," She responded, as she showed me her screen.

"Hey, nice. If nothing else, this is factual information instead of a conspiracy. I wonder, what was it like from the perspective of the Monsters? Actually, come to think of it...how old are you, Avaritia?"

"<I’m not sure, Master. My memories from before the Demon Lord evolved me to this form are rather hazy, it’s all a blur>," She shook her head uncertainly.

Huh, interesting. Wonder if it’s the same for Gula too? As for the other Apostles...well, there’s no way to say for sure, since they’re all dead.

"Alright, I’ll leave you to it. Maybe sometime later, once things have settled, we can travel around the world. You did say that you want to see everything the world has to offer, after all," I recalled thoughtfully.

"<Actually, that’s fine, I am in no particular rush. This internet, there is so much fascinating information in it. I suppose I would eventually want to see more of the world in person, but for the moment, I’m content seeing it through this screen. I can see different parts of the world, and in different eras, without needing to move from this spot>," She remarked, her eyes glued to the screen as she scrolled through the display.

Well, if that’s what she wants, fine by me.

Hm...this is nice.

This is what we fought for, this carefree sense of peace.

The Apostles fought hard, so I’m glad that I’m able to now give them the opportunity to indulge in their desires, to just kick back and have fun, in whatever shape or form that may come in.

And-...hm? Strange, Luxuria just got withdrawn. Must be Aria’s doing. What exactly went down during their chat?
