[Blood Sword Magic Art: Blood Slash – Claw]

The black knight captain swung his sword, unleashing multiple slashes of blood which hit the zigzagging bomb hounds, landing a hit on 2 out of 3 foes, which gave the archers a single target to focus on, allowing them to take down the last remaining hound.

Beside the knight captain, all remaining black knights also suddenly obtained some form of power boost as their movement and power was increased, allowing them to start somewhat fighting back against the golems.

They had stared using stronger spells and arts, which allowed them to somewhat keep the bomb hounds at bay while the army moved... But they still had hostiles monsters behind their backs.

"!"

"THE ENEMY STARTED KEEPING UP DISTANCE!" – shouted one of the archers.

"DON’T STOP! THE MOMENT YOU SHOW OPPENING THEY RUSH IN! DON’T LET THEM EVEN GET CLOSE!" – shouted the black knight captain as the army was moving once again.

"HEY! THESE FUCKERS AGAIN!" – shouted the heavy armor wielding tank as the two boss monsters were rushing in alongside several soldier golems and knight golems.

"..."

(All out, eh?) – thought the archer as he unleashed massive amount of fire from his palm, which instantly gave the archer position away to the golems.

However, the archer finished his preparations as he then manifested an arrow of fire, which he instantly fired at the golems, hitting the area right in the middle of them and blowing them all up, which even managed to knock down both boss monsters.

"I CAN FIRE FEW MORE SHOTS LIKE THIS! BUT YOU NEED TO HURRY!" – shouted the red bow archer.

"I CAN SEE THE FUCKING HORDE OF THEM FROM MY SPOT!" – shouted the red bow archer as the crossbow golems once began firing their shots while the earth golems alongside the knight golems were making their way forward, causing the red bow archer to try and slow them down with his explosive arrows.

The army of the black soldiers and knights started somewhat making progress while keeping the bomb hounds at bay.

Some of the hounds tried getting closer, but they were mostly unsuccessful, resulting in the situation once again being turned around in the invader’s favor.

"MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!" – shouted the knight captain as he tried leading his soldiers, resulting in the progress being made.

"..."

However, there was a problem.

"?!"

The ground beneath the frontliners opened up, revealing yet another massive pitfall.

The soldiers alongside several black knights fell down the hole... Which wasn’t the normal hole.

It was a hole filled with spears.

{{Info: The hole before also has blades inside, but they all kind of got inside of earth golems’ bodies.}}

The soldiers fell down inside the trap hole and few were impaled on the blades, which resulted in either heavy injuries or just some instant deaths for some unlucky soldiers.

"Ugh..." – the heavy armor wielding black knight with his great shield gotten lucky and smashed the blades below him with his great shield... But the knight captain? He didn’t ended up well.

"F-fuck..." – the man was completely caught off guard by the trap, since he wasn’t expecting it to appear as the group went this way before... But now there was no time to regret the situation.

The man fell down to the bottom of the pit, with the top half of the spear being stuck in his side.

(If it wasn’t for the armor, it would had ended badly.) – thought the knight captain as he started getting up while grabbing the spear piece and just pulling it out the spot, causing a blood to gush out from his wound.

"CAPTAIN! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" – shouted the soldier above the pit trap.

"Yeah! I’m okay!" – said the knight captain as he saw the dead soldiers as well as several injured people, including two black knights who were also not such luck as they fell into the trap.

"Shit! The hounds are coming in again!" – shouted the black knight above.

"Wait.... The fuck is this?!" – shouted the black knight as he noticed a bigger silhouette amongst the trees approaching, before moments later revealing itself.

[Hound Golem – Boss Type Model 1]

A massive hound golem which stood around 2 meters tall which straight up appeared to be some form of mix of a bear and wolf wearing a heavy armor on top of that.

The massive new golem was running at the top speed towards the soldiers, as several other new hound golems also made their appearance, running alongside the massive hound golem.

"Shit! Another wave of these fucking dog things! And they have some kind of fucking bear with them as well!?" – said the soldier as two massive golems alongside several new hound golems were making

(We have no info on those fuckers! What the hell are they?!) – thought the black knight with a sword.

"JUST FIRE AT THEM! THEY MAYBE BLOW UP LIKE THE OTHERS AS WELL!" – shouted the black knight swordman as the archers and mages opened fire at the incoming hound golems.

Some shots were able to slow down or stop in tracks the smaller hounds.

But the boss type?

It endured each hit easily as it continues closing the distance.

(Before I’ve thought overwhelming the enemy with countless fast moving hound golems would do the trick.... But it never really worked expect for few rare instances.) – thought Thauma as it observed the fight

(So, instead I’ve completely remodeled them from scratch.)

(I’ve focused on the defensive area which was the main weakness of the hound golem types.)

(However, that would mean that their speed would drop scientifically.... So, I chose another option.)

(Upgrade a living hell out of them.)

(Obviously they are now elite types, just like knight golems, and just like them, they now cost a huge amount of DP to produce even single one.)

(But still, with their performance?)

(I’m more than satisfied.)

(And the boss monsters?)

(Well....)

"SHIT! FUCKING BLOW IT UP! BLOW IT THE FUCK UP!" – shouted the panicking soldier as the mage black knight unleashed a freezing storm which finally hindered the golem, which then started slowing down the golem... Before then finally stopping its run.

"GET HIM WHILE ITS STUCK!" – shouted the black knight mage as soldiers rushed at the bound boss hound golem.

However, as they gotten closer, the ice on the side of the golem began cracking, before moments later two limbs suddenly burst out from the golem’s sides, which turned out to be two long blade limbs with where also equipped with pike striker at the end.

The hound boss golem launched the stingers at the soldiers.

Left side was able to dodge the attack in time... But one of the soldiers on the right side stumbled as he tried to back away, resulting in the soldier getting pierced right through his head with the blade, which just instantly killed the man as his corpse hanged on the stringer.

"OH, FUCK OFF!" – shouted the black knight mage.

[Ice Magic: Freezing Grasp]

The mage unleashed even powerful gust of cold which began freezing and pilling up ice over golem, which in response tried stabbing the man with the blade limb, but its body began freezing up.

"BACK OFF!" - and as it did, a man leaped at the golem. It was the black knight captain that came in and smashed right between the soldiers and hound golems, unleashing a shockwave that knocked back the boss hound and several smaller hounds.

"For fuck’s sake. Is this freaking boss monster as well?!" – said already extremely pissed off knight captain as it stared at the frozen and ice-covered golem while the other black knights managed to already get out the hole and remaining soldiers who were trapped in it started climbing out.

(Fuck me!) – thought the knight captain.

(As soon as I gave order to not hold back, things just started getting worst?!) – thought the knight as the boss monster tried regaining its movement, but the black knight captain rushed in.

[Blood Magic: Blood Rush]

The man speed skyrocket for a single moment as he slammed into the golem, stabbing it with his sword... Only to realize that the creature armor wasn’t only highly durable, but it was annoyingly thick.

"Oh, fuck off." – said the man as he dodged the hound boss golem jaws by backing away.

[Blood Sword Magic Art: Smash]

The man swung his sword around, unleashing a blunt type attack with the support of his blood magic that did landed a solid blow on the golem’s face, which also had enough power to knock back still frozen up golem.

However, even that wasn’t enough.

"Tch!"

(Its armor is the same as that other guy.) – thought the black knight captain as he realized that the hound golem’s defense was dangerously high.

(Should we aim to take out the joints like before?)

(If it really has enough defense as the other boss golem, then I should have enough force to wreck its joints with one strong hit.) – thought the black knight captain as he stepped backwards, dodging one of the blade arms, before then countering and knocking back the other one.

"Back off captain!" – shouted the black knight mage as he then unleashed another wave of ice, which further restrained the golem’s movement.

Afterwords, the black knight captain instantly rushed in and got near the golem, before then striking its left forelegs knee joint, shattering parts of it, before then quickly going for the second leg in the row, dealing critical damage to the left hind leg, effectively destroying the hound boss golem mobility as upon breaking the ice the boss monster just fell down as its lost support of its legs.

"I TOOK THE MOBILITY DOWN!" – shouted the knight captain as he backed away and regrouped with other soldiers as the hound golems started rushing in once again.

"WE WILL DEAL WITH THE SECOND FUCKER!" – shouted the black knight swordman as he and few other fighters were trying to also take out the second boss hound golem joints.

The boss monsters were starting to slowly being dealt with.... But there was a problem.

The regular hound golems were still on the loose.

Not only that, so were the bomb golems, who alongside the regular hound golems began making their move once again as the soldiers are dealing with boss monsters.

Not only that, but because of the threat of the traps as well as the pit fall opening out of nowhere, the soldiers progress was once again halted, and this obviously resulted in one thing.

The army of golems slowly starting to catch up.

"FOR FUCK’S SAKE! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!? THEY ARE ALMOST HERE!" – shouted the red bow archer as he tried firing his explosive arrows left and right... But his attacks were starting to be nowhere near enough to slow down the massive number of enemies.

"..."

*Sigh*

"I really should ask for the fucking raise." – said the black knight captain.
