    Satou, an ordinary guy from modern-day Japan, suddenly dies in a freak accident, he expects to find himself in the afterlife—or maybe even reincarnated as a hero in a fantasy world, complete with flashy powers and a harem of admirers. But fate has other plans. Thanks to a pair of forgetful gods who accidentally left him stranded in the reincarnation stream, Satou is reborn as the weakest creature imaginable: a baby goblin.
    Now, trapped in a tiny, green body with stubby arms and a voice that only produces gibberish, Satou must navigate a harsh and unforgiving world where goblins are nothing more than cannon fodder. To make matters worse, he’s surrounded by other baby goblins who see him as their personal chew toy and an old goblin elder who believes he’s the key to an ancient prophecy. Oh, and there’s also the looming threat of something called the “special selection,” which sounds about as fun as a death match.
    But all hope isn’t lost. Satou discovers he’s been gifted with a unique and overpowered skill: Devouring. By consuming the flesh of other creatures, he can absorb their skills, abilities, and even their memories. The catch? He’s a baby goblin with no teeth, no strength, and no idea how to survive in a world where everything wants to kill him.
    With the help of his snarky system assistant, Sys, Satou must grow stronger, outsmart his enemies, and defy the odds to prove that even a goblin can rise to greatness. From clumsy baby goblin to potential goblin god, Satou’s journey is filled with humor, danger, and unexpected twists. Will he survive the trials ahead and carve out a place for himself in this brutal world? Or will he end up as just another footnote in the history of goblin-kind?
