Chap 156: Trio at school
Sugure Geto was invited to Jujutsu High right at the age of a high schooler. Perfect, since she needed to get away from her town anyway, being shunned by her own family and soon ostracized by the whole village.
Just because she can see ghosts.
Her meeting with Takumi was quite a bizzare one. If not for the fact that she saw him summoning a giant bird and dropping to the ground like some deity, she wouldn't believe him.
Additionally, the news was broadcasting a great deal about these cursed spirits. When the invitation came, Geto didn't hesitate to just pack her bags and hop on Takumi's bird.
Sơmthing she would soon come to not regret at all.
"Cool, it's just us three then?" Gojo asked.
Geto had to make a conscious move to not stare so much; it was very hard to do when the woman sitting next to her was the most popular student too.
Such vibrant white hair isn't something commonly seen, captivating doesn't do her any justice. It looked so natural on her, accompanied by those blue eyes. Geto only caught a glimpse when Gojo was leaning her head.
"Yup, just us three." Geto answered, "The only three special grades in the whole school of over three hundred students."
"Wait, you're a special grade too ?" Gojo, for the first time, sounded quite surprised.
"Yeah, dumb ass, why do you think there's only us in this whole-ass classroom?"
"Uhh....made sense."
"Did you even listen to anything the manager told you?"
"If you mean manager, the sleazily looking old lady, then no, I booked it here the moment I was given the student card."
Geto was completely speechless, how can a person like this exist?
"Hoko?" She turned to the only boy in the room.
"Don't ask me, I didn't listen to shit."
Well, ain't that just peachy. Geto is surrounded by not one but two careless idiots. There was a noticeable vein of anger pumping on Geto's forehead. But she held it together by a polite smile.
"So, when would the homeroom teacher come by? I heard he's also a special grade." The white hair teen said, leaning over her chair.
"Ohh, you know him?" Finally, something to cut this awkwardness between them, "I heard he's from a big three clan."
"A guy? You sure it isn't some chick that put on makeup and calls herself a dude?" Now even Hoko is interested.
Their conversation went on until the sound of sliding door caught the trio's ear.
Her eyes darted to the door, where a familiar figure stood. One she hadn't seen in so long.
"I see that everyone has gotten along, sorry for being late." Takumi bowed slightly.
Despite what the man was trying to convey through his fake appearance. Gojo and Geto can see him for what he is.
""Strong.""
Geto knows because she saw it firsthand, Gojo knows because her six eyes are going blind from the light of his energy.
"I take it as everyone has introduced themself?" He laughed it off,"Anyway, I think I should also let myself be known."
A chalk in hand, Takumi writes out his name.
"My name is Takumi, no need for honorific, and no last name, just call me by my name or sensei is fine."
"Okie dookey, Takumi-sensei." Gojo did a double thumbs up.
"Seriously, girl, could you be any more childish?" Geto groaned.
For someone who was raised to be polite, seeing Gojo's careless attitude was a real sore for her eyes. And as this continues, there would be no doubt for them to beat each other up.
"I'm stuck with two idiotic woman." Hoko exclaimed.
"You may also call me that, now, everyone! Back to class." Takumi continues to write on the chalkboard.
"Welcome to curse energy 101." He said, "I'll be guiding you kids on everything curse energy related. Open your notebook book please, and we shall start at-"
For the next couple of hours, Takumi taught them through every basic step of Curse energy. For Gojo, it was actually fun to see how there's another way to see and understand the curse energy concept.
Geto wasn't someone who got an educated teaching on curse energy, so she fell behind a bit. Didn't matter much because she was so engrossed in learning them.
The whole time, Hoko didn't pay much attention, yet when being called to answer some questions, the boy managed to give Takumi flawless answers. That amazed both Gojo and Geto.
*Ringgggggg*
"Oh well, that's enough for today. We'll continue on the next subject tomorrow."
"Hey wait, Sensei."
"Yes, Gojo?"
"When can we do some fighting?"
"After i evaluate your skills." He said nothing more, leaving the trio to do whatever.
Takumi sat in the teacher's office, along with his own former student, Kusakabe, and Mei Mei were having a cup of tea.
"How did your first day as a teacher go?" He asks.
"Terrible."
"Boring."
Mei Mei was not enthusiastic about being a teacher at all. Mostly from the reason that teacher didn't get paid enough for their work.
Kusakabe, on the other hand, handled her first day quite well. Long gone was the shy girl he once taught. Now just a brooding woman, Takumi argues that he has done a good job indeed, improving her, as this took him such a long time, but it was worth the effort.
"Oi, Kusakabe, can we switch classes? Mine are full of the most annoying bitches I've seen in my life." Mei Mei groaned, "Not only are they loud, but none of them are even beyond grade two."
"I don't think that's a good idea, I'm quite fond of mine, they're very, uhm, what's the word again? Ah, tractable." Kusakabe nodded to herself, "Mine are also just grade two class, I don't think it's about the student, they're just energetic to see a man teaching, that's all."
"How did your class go, sensei?" It was then that the question was placed on him.
"Oh me? Hmmm," Takumi tapped his forehead, "my class is full of opposite personalities, one is a very careless girl."
The Gojo he knew was obviously very talented, and it showed in class. The girl knew much about jujutsu, he expected as much considering where she came from.
"One is a polite girl," Geto, on the other hand, didn't have much knowledge but could pick things up quickly.
"and one clever boy." Hoko was if not the strangest of the trio, Takumi didn't know much of his original counterpart from the show. Gege had not given her that chance. Seeing her for real, he can tell this kid is a genius, just not in a way anyone, not even him can properly understand.
