4-15: The Second Fight
The second match of the day was... terrible. Both teams were so uncoordinated that it was surprising to see that they even got to the second round. Needless to say, they'll be eliminated by those Dragons of Varsha guys, like the others before them.
The third fight was much more interesting, with a team of only beastmen being the winners. They were all some form of barbarian class, trying to rip their opponents to shreds. That team would also happen to be the team the girls would have to face, should they win their round.
And so, the girls readied themselves for their fight and took position on the arena grounds. Across from them was a team, similar to the Fairies for the first round. One man, three women. Though, this time, the women seemed to be more... blank, or in some kind of daze.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome the Ethereal Ravens back to the arena! Those girls are showing great promise! And their opposing team, Blue Moon! Let the battle... begin!"
Veronica and Aviris immediately rushed in, shortly followed by Eleanora. However, before they got to their opponents, a ball of fire appeared behind them.
None of their opponents ever casted a spell, which means...
"Cass! What are you doing!?" Veronica tried to figure out what was going on.
'She wouldn't miss like that... what's going on?'
Cassidy never answered, so Veronica quickly backed off to look back at Cassidy, who seemed to be in a daze, similar to the girls on the other team.
"Cass!?"
"It's no use, she's being controlled. That man, he's behind this."
Before Veronica could think at all, a slash from a familiar rapier came at her. Veronica was just barely able to dodge out of the way.
'Elly too!?'
This means that they could all lose if they all become controlled, or whatever is going on.
"A busty mage, a dark skinned beauty and the Princess? Today must be my lucky day~" The man laughed to himself.
'Fucking perv.'
"Language darling. Wouldn't want to ruin that pure innocence you have going for you~ Anyways, I can protect you from his influencing, but this has effectively turned into a 1 versus 7 fight."
Great. Good thing she knows her team's weaknesses.
First, Cassidy, take out potentially the most dangerous one on the field. She has a very easy to exploit weakness.
Veronica sprinted to Cassidy and forced a kiss. Mind controlled or not, she would always melt into Veronica's arms like warm butter. This easily stopped her, and to keep her down, Veronica used her own succubus powers to put her to sleep. Thankfully, Lilith taught Veronica a way to wake her up without waiting.
Second, Aviris. Easily the fastest of the group with the least weaknesses. At this point, there's no easy way to get her to drop her guard. So, the best thing to do for her is just get close first.
Which would prove to be difficult, as she proceeded to use hit-and-run tactics.
"On my signal. Three... two... now!"
Veronica listened to Lilith, casting her spell at just the right time, putting her Aviris to sleep, and quickly catching her, to make sure she doesn't hit her head. After putting her down gently, the last one was Eleanora.
She wouldn't be too hard if she had a different weapon. To get to her, the best option would probably be to get behind her. Though, it's not like she would just simply turn her back. Unless...
'Please work... And I'm sorry, Elly!'
Veronica used Charm, as much as possible to have Eleanora follow her commands instead, but hopefully not too much to alter her dramatically.
Thankfully, even though she was still in a state of control, prior to Charm, she was able to make Eleanora turn around, albeit hesitantly. In that moment, she put the princess into a deep slumber.
'I really didn't want to use it...'
"At this point, not much you could have done. She should be fine."
One versus four. The three girls under his control, their "leader" and Veronica.
"Why aren't you under my control!?" He yelled, toosing his weapon carelessly.
"Because there isn't enough room for three people I my head." Veronica retorted quietly, and throwing her axe as hard as she could at the leader.
Thankfully, the blade didn't hit, as opposed to Veronica's disappointment, but the butt of the axe still hit him, knocking him unconscious. And the girls on his "team" suddenly snapped out of his control, two of them seemed exceptionally distress, and the third immediately broke down.
Good thing people took noticed, officials came down and took care of the girls while a couple guards took the man in for some "kind" words.
Meanwhile, Veronica and her now unconscious team were brought to the exiting chamber, where they were the left alone.
"Time to wake you girls up."
To reverse their slumber, Veronica had to simply kiss them. While kissing, she needed to use the spell again, but focus on waking them up instead of making them fall asleep.
She decided to start with Eleanora, who awoke without a problem.
"What happened?" She asked, holding her head, still in a daze.
"I'll tell you after I get the others up."
Aviris was next. She clearly wanted more, as her hands naturally made their way towards Veronica's back, but stopped when Veronica pulled away.
"Hey... did we win?"
"Yeah. I'll tell you all about it in a bit."
And lastly, Cassidy. As soon as Veronica initiated the kiss, Cassidy's arms instinctively wrapped around Veronica. And after Veronica was finished, Cassidy still refused to let her go. Rather, she forced her own tongue into Veronica's mouth.
It turned into a rather heated make-out session. Their saliva mixing, and Cassidy getting a little too handsy, groping at Veronica's chest.
"Don't suffocate the poor girl!" Aviris tried to pull the two apart, seeing that Veronica was having a little trouble breathing.
"But I'm horny!" Cassidy complained.
"It was the only way to get you to stop hitting me with fireballs!" Veronica responded.
"I did what!?"
"Long story short, the guy in that team had an ability to control people. All three of you were caught in his influence, and thanks to my class, I was able to resist him. I put all three of you to sleep..." Veronica started.
"That explains why my panties are wet." Eleanora blurted out without hesitation.
"And I then knocked him out by throwing my axe at him. It seemed like the girls in his team were... forced, and by their reactions... he wasn't very good to them."
"Those poor girls..." Cassidy said with remorse.
"And so, we won by default, as the girls were clearly not in the right mental state to continue."
"Understanable. But it really feels bad to win because of that." Aviris tried to swallow her feeling of guilt.
The girls sat in silence for a short while before deciding to leave, finally getting out of the arena.
"So... what do we do now?" Cassidy asked.
"Well, we could do what we did yesterday and go back home. Or we could watch the rest of today's tournament." Aviris responded with two options.
"Hm..."
"Oh, hey Veronica!" A voice came from their side. The voice came from Seraph, who had come to greet them.
"Seraph! Uh, h-hi." Veronica greeted back, remembering when she last saw her.
"Hey, Ver, who's this?" Cassidy asked.
"Ah, this is Seraph. She helped me train for the tournament. Seraph, this is my childhood best friend, Cassidy."
"Sup! Good to meet you!" Cassidy officially was introduced.
"Aviris." Veronica gestured to the dark skinned beauty.
"Hello." Aviris gave a simple greeting.
"And the second princess, her Highness, lady Eleanora Kaleigh dey Montague." Veronica introduced the royal woman.
"Greetings. You can just call me Eleanora, or Elly, if you prefer." Eleanora curtly greeted with a small bow.
"It's nice to meet you all! Oh, in this case, I should introduce my team. Want to come with me? There's a good amount of open spots next to us, and plenty of time before the next fight." Seraph asked after giving a collective greeting with a small bow.
Veronica looked at the rest of her team, to see what they wanted to do. All three of them seemed fine with it.
"Sure. Lead the way." Veronica said, walking close to Seraph.
And so, the girls followed the older student back to the observation benches, curious as to who is on Seraph's team.
