Chapter 313: You’re Ruthless
He had just asked his men to deal with Michael, no matter the cost. Unexpectedly, these guys, instead of dealing with Michael, they actually rushed towards him.
And the moment that they got to him, two people grabbed one of his legs each, while other two grab his arms, one each, with two others supporting the midsection of his body on either side, then they actually rushed out of the shooting range.
At first, Ethan was dumbfounded that he momentarily forgot about the pain that he was experiencing. It was only when he was suddenly being roughly grabbed by his men that the pain made him come back to his senses.
And as he tried to struggle, with his right hand already injured, his men hoisted him into the air, before they began sprinting, intending to leave the shooting range.
It was not just Alex and the others that were left dumbfounded by the sudden turn of events, as Michael was also left stunned.
Initially, he had thought that after he had shot Ethan, this group of men would suddenly attack him. In fact, he was already prepared to deal with them.
Unexpectedly, these guys actually rushed towards Ethan, before carrying him and running off, while dragging the other three that he had previously shot with them.
In the end, Michael just gazed at them, letting them leave. In any case, he would deal with them eventually. After all, he still had to deal with Amos, Ethan’s uncle.
For now, he would leave this guy to be tormented by what had happened today. But the next time that they met, that would definitely be the end of him.
And if this guy was stupid not to return to the capital today, then, he should not expect to return, in case he ended up encountering Michael during his stay within this city.
"Damn it! They are running! Should we stop them?" Alex, who had just come back to his senses, suddenly shouted as he gazed at Michael.
Even if he understood that they were not capable of dealing with this group of men that Ethan had brought with him, at least, they could prevent them from leaving with Ethan.
From the way that they were acting, it was clear that they cared much about Ethan’s condition. If Ethan was forced to stay, they definitely would not run away.
"There is no need for that. Anyway, you won’t be seeing him cause you any trouble in the future." Michael shook his head as he responded.
His words left Alex and the rest of the group thinking about what would happen to Ethan. And just the thought of it made them feel a chill running down their spines.
At the same time, they felt grateful that they were not Michael’s enemies. Otherwise, what would happen to them?
That was especially for Alex. After all, during the first encounter with Michael, if he had been a little bit arrogant, and maybe try to force Michael to sell the Koenigsegg Regera to him, things would have definitely been bad for him.
It was only at this moment that he let out a sigh of relief. Good thing he made Michael a friend, and not an enemy. A person like Michael, it was way better to have him as a friend than an enemy.
In fact, it was much better to make an acquaintance, to create some friendship, rather than being strangers. It was much easier for a stranger to deal with another person that they did not know, in case their interests were harmed.
But in a situation where there was friendship, there was a leeway, and there was a possibility of surviving a calamity. But of course, Alex had no thoughts of betraying Michael.
So, the only situation where he would be against Michael would be if Michael suddenly decided to kill him. Of course, if Michael wanted to kill him, Alex thought that he would not resist.
He had already promised Michael that he was willing to risk his life for him. Therefore, he would just take it as though he had exchanged his own life for his sister’s.
Michael did not know what Alex was thinking about, and neither did he care about the chatter that had just erupted in the group behind him.
Instead, he gazed towards the group that had been invisible ever since Ethan arrived.
And as he gazed over, he realized that the entire group was currently sitting on the floor. Apart from that, their whole bodies were trembling, while others were already sweating buckets.
And there was even one of them that had already fainted, which left Michael speechless.
But, this was kind of to be expected. After all, this was just a group of spoiled rich kids. They were the ones that were used to dominating others, even if they had been suppressed by Alex’s group.
They had never encountered a situation where they almost died. In fact, they were not sure about their own fate.
That was especially for the leader of the group, who immediately understood that they had messed up.
Previously, when he was offered a chance of dealing with Alex, he immediately took it. He did not even consider what kind of consequences would come by taking this chance.
Additionally, he never questioned himself why a rich kid from the central province, would suddenly target a group of young masters and misses from a small city like Brenton city. (Of course, when compared to the major cities in the central province, Brenton city is just a small city.)
But now, seeing what had just transpired, he finally understood. If he had been in a situation where his life was at risk, Ethan would definitely not save him. Even if that guy wanted to save him, did he have the ability to do so?
Jack did not know Michael’s background, but something that he understood was that, this guy was ruthless. It was better to avoid him as much as possible.
In fact, he was already thinking about running away from this place, and far away from Michael. But unfortunately, while his mind wished him to leave, his body was not obeying.
And when he suddenly noticed that Michael was gazing at him, his entire body began trembling. Just like most of those that were currently seated on the floor with him, he was already sweating.
"I-I...C-can you l-le-let m-me g-go?" He managed to stutter a few words, hoping that Michael would show mercy.
Of course, Michael was not much interested in this group. He did not care that much about Ethan, not to mention this small group.
In any case, they could not cause him any waves, even if he let them go. But, the decision of letting them go was not in his hands.
He turned and looked at Alex and the rest of the group and said, "The decision is up to you, on what you are going to do about them. You don’t have to worry about the consequences, just make sure that you don’t kill them."
When it came to dealing with such a group of people, Michael did not bother holding back. In normal situations, he would have killed this entire group.
But from his understanding of the situation, they were just pawns being used by Ethan. Additionally, they did not have the intention of killing anyone, just coming over to beat up Alex and the others.
Therefore, their lives could be spared. But because of the character, there was a high probability that they had committed quite a number of atrocities. Therefore, even if they were beaten into a vegetative state, Michael would have no qualms about it.
It was only when Jack was stammering but Alex and the rest of the group remembered that Jack and his group were actually here. Because of what had happened with Ethan, they had almost forgotten about this group.
At this point, with Michael giving them the power to decide on the fate of this group, they immediately felt excited. Additionally, from Michael’s words, it was clear that they could do whatever they wanted to these guys, apart from killing them.
With that guarantee, they could finally think about dealing with these guys as they pleased. Of course, at times, they had thought about dealing with these guys, but there was a limit to what they could do. But now, it was completely different.
As they thought about dealing with Jack and his group, they remembered just how arrogant these guys had been when they came to the shooting range earlier.
They came with weapons, intending to beat them up. And from the way that Jack had spoken, it was clear that they wanted to injure them thoroughly.
"Don’t worry about this. Just leave this to us. We will make sure that we give them a thorough lesson, one that they would never forget in their entire lives." Raymond said as he patted his chest.
The others immediately nodded, as they began staring at Jack and his group like a pack of wolves staring at a flock of sheep.
"By the way, you can use this gun. In case any one of them dares to resist or run away, just shoot them. Even if you kill them, I will take care of it." Michael said as he handed the pistol in his hand to Alex.
When speaking, he made sure that his words were loud enough, so that Jack and his group would hear. That way, they would understand that they should cooperate and receive their punishment obediently. Otherwise, they might end up dying.
"Man, you are ruthless!" Alex gave Michael a thumbs up as he received the gun, before he turned to face Jack and his group.
