The end
We got several years of quiet before something new showed up. A siren pair of brother and sister that came to Pandora and began trying to play themselves off as gods to get a following. Tyreen Calypso and Troy Calypso certainly gained a following but in the process called down a real albeit incomplete god to them. Tyreen was arrogant when I appeared and tried to use her powers to drain the power from me and I even played along for a bit out of interest before getting bored. -
Her powers could at best be likened to an energy vampire. She could drain the energy from any living thing to strengthen herself but that was it. The entire growth progression for her powers were linear and bland. After she took a few thousand units of lifeforce I stopped playing around and grabbed the top of her head before twisting with a sharp "CRACK!". From her perspective it must have seemed like one moment everything was going great and the next she was facing the wrong direction. I took a copy of her siren trait that was incomplete before reducing her to ash as I took the lifeforce from her. -
As it turned out her brother had the missing part of her siren trait. It took me only a moment to puzzle out how. They must have been recently formed twins in the womb when the powers latched onto them. Sirens being born as sirens was almost unheard of and the odds of twins being made sirens before birth was so astronomically small it must have cracked the power in two. Statistical anomalies to such a massive degree no one, not even the the creators of the powers could have predicted it.-
Still i reduced the brother to dust just as easily and I now possessed six of the seven siren traits. It also helped that this particular power was a complementary one to my original as it let me take lifeforce and traits from things that were still alive without even touching them. The trait thing I could do with a touch but lifeforce required death to snatch until now. You could almost consider it patching a limitation in my own powerset, perfecting it. In the end these two ended up as forgotten names among the dusty winds of Pandora. -
It took surprisingly long to track down the last set of siren powers I needed in the end. The reason for this was because it turned out they were in a different galaxy all together. In the possession of an old woman who had already been to Pandora BEFORE I arrived and left it. I traded the woman her youth back in exchange for the copy of her powers I took. The powers themselves were known as [Phase time] and let her to a minor degree mess with time. See into the future or past, rewind time a few seconds or speed up her own time to seemingly move faster than she really was, that sort of thing. -
I held off on integrating the trait into my god trait though as I wanted to make a show of it. I returned to Pandora and invited everyone I knew and every head of corporation operating out of the borderlands to witness my apotheosis. The crowd was astronomical. Every worshiper I had on the planet showed up and those that couldn't were getting a live streamed feed of the entire thing. All of my friends and those close to me like the Jakobs, Clay, Hammerlock, Scooter and Moxxi had front row seats while the corporation heads were a row behind them. -
"For the first time in recorded history! On this day! A new god is born!" I yelled grandly as I stood on the raised platform with my voice being projected out by speakers.
The millions of league members roared and pumped their fists in fanaticism at this. Those who knew me just rolled their eyes at the dramatics or chuckled to themselves. I raised my arms to silence the noise before kicking the siren trait towards my long since ready god trait.-
Immediately the vast swirling green tattoos covering me from head to toe began to shine in a blinding manner as the incomplete trait was complete and it's name changed.

All of my other traits started to crash against each other in a frenzy at this until only a single other trait stood remaining.

My body burned away as my flesh dissolved into pure energy and soon I was naught but a great green sun-like orb of energy floating in the sky. I felt endless at this moment like I was everywhere at all times on the planet and further. -
I saw the Destroyer in it's great prison and burned as I used my new divine state to forcefully begin to devour the beast. I bypassed space and time in my powers and the prison remained untouched as I hollowed it out of it's charge. The beast was long since starved of sustenance and thus barely fought back weakly shaking the prison before it was consumed whole and my divine form ballooned to a size not much smaller than the planet itself. Proximity was causing the planet to fracture and quake however as my mere presence was destructive. -
With a thought my vast form condensed into a single radiant green humanoid form before the glow faded leaving behind my normal body that radiated a faint constant green light and I descended back to the ground.
"Pretty awesome right?" I said with a grin.
