She knew that when her father called at this hour, it definitely wasn’t anything good!

When her hair was half-dried, the bathroom door opened, and Huo Junmo came out after a shower, a towel wrapped around his lower body, revealing his muscular upper body!

Feeling Ling Yueyue’s gaze, Huo Junmo’s eyes flickered. He walked to the bed and sat down, drying his hair while saying, "Did you call your father back? What did he want? If you need my help, just let me know!"
Ling Yueyue’s cheeks flushed as her eyes flickered twice, nervously retracting her gaze, stammering, "No... nothing! Just a call to check on me! You know, my parents live in the countryside, and we hardly see each other all year, only communicating by phone!"
Huo Junmo pursed his lips and said earnestly, "If you miss them, you can bring them to Jin City. I can buy them a house so they can enjoy their later years here. This way, if you miss them and they miss you, it would be much more convenient to meet!"
Without thinking, Ling Yueyue directly shook her head in refusal, "No need! They’ve lived in the countryside all their lives and are used to it. Huo Junmo laughed, "I’ve never hidden my good impression of you!"
Ling Yueyue stared deeply into Huo Junmo’s eyes for a while before saying, "But, good impression isn’t love, right?"
Huo Junmo nodded, without concealment, "A good impression includes many things, but love is unique!"
Hearing this, Ling Yueyue wasn’t angry at all; instead, she squinted and smiled, "I prefer honest men like you! We haven’t known each other long. If you said you’ve fallen for me, I would think you were insincere, not honest, and not a man worth trusting!"
Huo Junmo raised an eyebrow, asking back, "Do you love me then?"
Ling Yueyue answered honestly, "Don’t know! But...!" Pausing deliberately here, she tightened her hold on Huo Junmo’s neck, pulling him closer, and said with a smile, "But I think we can develop feelings! Huo Junmo asked with a laugh, "How to move forward?"
Ling Yueyue’s eyes mischievously turned as she smirked, "Today is our third night of marriage! We wasted the first two nights. Tonight, we have a rare opportunity to be alone, and I think we can try...!"

Huo Jiantian pouted, defensively saying, "This house is mine, everything in it is mine, this room is mine too! Why should I knock before entering my own room?"
Ling Yueyue retorted angrily, "This is mine and your father’s room!"
Lowering his hands, Huo Jiantian puffed his cheeks, huffed, "Dad’s mine, so his room’s naturally mine too! I’ve never had to knock before coming in!"
