Trenches, Guns, and Magic

Trenches, Guns, and Magic
After being knocked out and abruptly awakened by a punch, Morin finds himself a prisoner of war. He initially believed he was in a world on the eve of a conflict similar to World War I, but quickly discovers the actual situation is far more bizarre. For starters, why is he, an Imperial soldier, allied with volunteers from the International Brigades?!
Assault Troopers who look like walking Iron Cans carrying swords and shields, Armored Knights powered by a mix of diesel and Magic, and battle mages marching with the army… All of this tells Morin that this world has serious, fundamental issues.
But his immediate concern is how to survive this conflict, a war ironically touted as ‘the war to end all wars.’
