Chapter 350: Massacre at Noon

When they heard the names Risa and the Queen of the Blood-Cursed Tribe, their expressions turned grim. The woman who led the village stepped forward, stopping right at the tip of Ethan's blade.

"We can't do anything. The elders of the main tribe ordered us. We only acted according to their command," the woman explained.

"So you admit… that the destruction of Gor City was caused by you?"

"Yes."

Ethan could no longer hold back his anger. He swung his sword forward in a horizontal motion. A crimson slash shot out at high speed, targeting the village leader.

The three tribal elders moved at once and stood directly in front of her. One of them slammed his staff into the ground, summoning a green magical barrier to block Ethan's attack.

But unlike Lyodra's servant, Ethan's power was many times greater. From the clash of the two forces, cracks began to spread across the elders' barrier.

BLAST!

A powerful explosion erupted, shattering the magical defense and throwing the three elders and the village leader backward.

Black-crimson smoke rose high into the air, visible even from inside the village despite the massive stone walls.

Two of the three elders died, leaving only one severely injured elder alive. The village leader was also wounded.

The two of them hurriedly fled from the front gate area, heading back toward the village chief's building. But Ethan did not stop.

He was determined to repay what the Telmarian Tribe had done to the Blood-Cursed Tribe many times over, letting them drown in blood, suffering, and misery.

Ethan destroyed the gate with his sword skill. It shattered, sending a powerful crimson shockwave across the entire village.

People began focusing their attention on Ethan, the man whose clothes were drenched in blood.

It was clearly not something they were used to seeing. They all looked at him with the same expression: fear.

"Ethan! Please, forgive us," the village leader pleaded.

Ethan stopped when he saw women, the elderly, and children standing in rows along the dirt road.

Their gazes were sharp, trying to intimidate him, but the fear on their faces was impossible to hide.

"If you want to kill her, then you'll have to go through us first," said one of the women, middle-aged, wearing clothes patterned with leaves.

Waves of protests and shouts of hatred echoed from all of them. Ethan closed his eyes, took a slow breath, then exhaled.

He raised his hand, gripping the Bloodblade Ashura tightly. "I'll give you a choice: leave and live, or stay and die."

Ethan channeled more power into his Bloodblade Ashura, sending out strong winds that were more than enough to shake their resolve.

Slowly, those who did not want to die began running away in different directions. Panic broke out as fear reached its peak.

Children cried after being separated from their mothers. Mothers ran with pale faces. The elderly looked resigned, unable to do anything.

From hundreds who had protested earlier, now only dozens remained, fewer than a hundred. Ethan stood still for a moment, his gaze sharp ahead.

He swung his sword sideways, unleashing a maroon crimson slash that tore through the crowd of protesters.

No one could withstand it. No one could fight back. Their bodies were split in two upon contact with the attack.

The surviving elder stretched out his hand, using the last of his power to protect their village leader.

Everyone on the dirt road had died, leaving only the elder and Alana.

The elder raised his staff, but his barrier shattered instantly. Another explosion erupted.

His body was thrown far away, parts of it torn apart and scattered.

Alana was also badly injured. Half of her body was burned and blistered, and the surrounding buildings were destroyed and collapsed.

Seeing Alana so gravely wounded filled many of the remaining villagers with sorrow and grief.

Ethan kept walking, his feet stepping through pools of blood that had formed along the dirt road.

He stopped beside Alana's body. Her clothes were torn, leaving her nearly half-naked. Her face was no longer beautiful, and half her body was pale and blistered.

"Forgive… us."

Ethan's gaze was empty. As they begged for forgiveness, he wondered if they had shown the same mercy when the people of Gor City pleaded for their lives.

But seeing the destruction of Gor City, it was unlikely the Telmarian Tribe had shown any mercy. Ethan knew well that the roots of hatred between the two tribes ran deep.

"I'll let the entire village live if you tell me something," Ethan said.

"What…?"

Before Ethan could ask his question, Alana suddenly went limp, her eyes wide open.

Blood seeped from her blistered skin. Her body had reached its limit. She died.

Ethan let out a slow breath, realizing he was too late to get information from her. But he did know that there was another Telmarian village in the eastern region.

Maybe he could get more detailed information from that village instead of Alana.

He extended his hand forward, summoning Hissy. Hissy appeared in the form of the Venomfang Queen, looking at Ethan.

"Help me kill everyone in this place, Hissy."

Hissy hissed, then moved swiftly, her body growing larger. People panicked and ran, just as Hissy chased them down, carrying death with her.

Elsewhere, Ethan walked along the village road and exited through the stone gate. Hissy remained inside, not yet finished with her slaughter.

Now Ethan's objective on this floor was clear. His attention shifted forward, toward the forest path leading east.

There was another Telmarian village there, still intact. Keeping his Ashura Mode active, Ethan moved forward slowly.

Ten minutes passed. Hissy returned from the western area and walked beside Ethan. She climbed onto his shoulder, signaling her task was complete.

For Hissy, killing people was easy. The poison in her body was extremely deadly.

Ethan stopped. His clothes were still stained with blood from the battle in the western Telmarian village. When the village guards saw him, their eyes widened in shock.

"What happened?" they whispered, panic mixed with fear.

"Who… who are you?" they asked.

Ethan stabbed his Bloodblade Ashura into the ground, staring ahead with a sharp expression. From his eyes, they could feel an overwhelming killing intent.

He took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly, his gaze fixed on them. Sensing something suspicious, the village guards quickly gathered and formed a line in front of the gate.

"You are not welcome here. Go back and never come here again!" one of the guards shouted firmly.

"Call your village chief here," Ethan said coldly, staring straight ahead. "If not, then I will kill all of you."
