Ghost Exorciser: The Oust Fake Heiress Strikes

Chapter 652: Two Pieces Of Trash

"A hair clip? Who would even bring a hair clip there?" Sophia began thinking carefully.

"There are only four other contestants besides us. The two males are with us, and we are the only two females in this game. Julia did not participate here."

Sophia suddenly looked confused.

"But who said that hair clips can only be used by females?" Lana chuckled. "It was Gabriel."

Sophia’s expression changed.

"I remember. He had a clip with him. I saw it during the competition. He had actually clipped it to his wristwatch."

Sophia frowned. "Why does he even have something like that? Does he have a girlfriend or something?"

She paused, her expression becoming increasingly suspicious. "But even if he has one, he should not have left that clip on the ground. That is strange."

Lana chuckled softly. "Maybe they encountered..."

Her voice trailed off as she looked back toward the distant Nether River, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"Something unexpected."

Sophia hesitated for a moment before asking, "So, you think they might be in danger?"

Lana shook her head. "I do not think so. I know so. They are in danger."

A brief silence fell between them as the weight of Lana’s words settled over the tent. Sophia looked at her with a complicated expression before finally asking, "So, what are you going to do? Save them?"

Lana chuckled softly. "Of course I have to save them."

Sophia sighed and shook her head. "I never thought you would be the Mother Mary or saintess type of woman."

Lana laughed. "Of course I am not. I am planning to make them pay once I rescue them. I am going to ask for at least one..."

She paused and raised one finger. Sophia stared at her for a moment before suddenly holding up her hand and displaying a hundred million dollars.

Lana immediately shook her head.

"One billion dollars from each of them. They are contestants representing their respective companies and countries. Surely, their countries would be willing to spend that much money to get them back, right?"

For an instant, Sophia stared at Lana with undisguised admiration. "I have met many people in my life, but you are by far the most talented one among them."

Lana chuckled proudly. "Of course I am."

With that, she leaned forward slightly. "Now, let’s start making a plan."

The two of them began discussing every possibility they could think of.

They considered the location, the potential traps, the condition of Gabriel and Raphael, and the possibility that Calix and Danny might interfere. By the time evening arrived, they had finally settled on a plan.

Lana stretched her body, feeling the stiffness in her shoulders from sitting for so long. "Let’s set out."

Sophia looked at her with some concern. "Won’t it be dangerous?"

Lana gave her a calm smile. "The more time we take, the more dangerous it will become for Gabriel and Raphael. If we wait too long, we might not be able to save them at all."

Hearing that, Sophia could only nod. Soon, both of them stepped outside.

Calix and Danny were already waiting nearby. When they saw Lana and Sophia approaching, they exchanged a glance before looking at Lana.

"Where are we going?"

Lana chuckled. "I will take the lead. Just follow me."

With that, she started walking. Soon, all four of them arrived near the Nether River.

The atmosphere around the river was noticeably colder than before.

Once they arrived, Calix and Danny exchanged another meaningful look, but neither of them said anything.

Lana, on the other hand, closed her eyes and began channeling her mystic energy throughout the surrounding area.

Her pure mystic energy alone could not determine the exact location of a person. However, when combined with Mr. Crow’s spiritual energy, she could sense even the faintest traces of unusual energy.

As the two energies intertwined, Lana’s expression gradually became serious. She sensed something. A faint and deadly aura lingered somewhere nearby.

’This is not normal.’

The energy was weak, but it carried a familiar sense of injury and suffering.

From what Lana could sense, Gabriel and Raphael had been gravely injured. Otherwise, there was no reason for the two of them to remain completely silent after arriving at such a dangerous place.

Sure enough, a faint tug came from the left side. Lana immediately opened her eyes and began walking in that direction.

The moment Calix noticed where she was heading, his expression changed. He quickly stepped forward and blocked her path.

"Lana, what are you doing? Do not go there. It is dangerous."

Lana looked at him calmly.

"I do not remember asking for your opinion. Move."

Calix’s eyes widened.

"Lana, be careful. I am saying this for your own good. If you continue showing this kind of attitude toward others, they will not tolerate it."

Lana chuckled coldly. "I never asked them to tolerate me. Now move, or I will have to force all of you to move."

For a moment, the two sides stood in a deadlock. The atmosphere became tense, and the air seemed to grow heavier between them.

Sophia finally stepped forward. "Why not just attack them?"

Lana nodded. "That works too."

The next second, Calix and Danny immediately moved away from Lana’s path. Lana smiled.

"Good. Now do not let me catch you two trying anything."

With that, she quickly headed toward the location she had sensed. Soon, she arrived at a secluded area near the river.

Sure enough, she saw Gabriel and Raphael lying on the ground.

Both of them were unconscious, their bodies covered in injuries. Their clothes were torn and stained, and their breathing was so faint that it was difficult to notice from a distance.

Lana immediately crouched beside them and checked their pulses. Since she knew basic medicine, she quickly reached a conclusion.

’Their injuries are severe.’

Both of them had suffered serious internal and external injuries, and the damage appeared to have been caused by some kind of powerful attack.

Lana’s gaze slowly shifted toward Calix and Danny. Her eyes narrowed. "Truly, you two are pieces of trash."
