Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 740: The Godly Receptionist

The Volcanion warship slowly approached the ancient divine fortress, and as it drew closer, Garion finally realized just how enormous it truly was.

The warship soon landed on a colossal black-and-gold platform outside one of the fortress gates.

Volkrath turned around. "We are here."

The doors of the warship opened, revealing a wide path leading toward the fortress.

Varkhazan and the other Volcanion envoys immediately straightened their posture.

Dravion, Elder Varan, and Kaelvar also became much more serious.

Volkrath glanced at them. "The rest of you will remain here."

Varkhazan lowered his head. "Understood, Lord Volkrath."

Dravion also nodded respectfully. "We understand."

Kaelvar looked toward Garion with complicated eyes, but said nothing.

Volkrath then turned toward Garion and Rachel. "You two, follow me."

Garion put both hands into his pockets. "Lead the way."

Rachel walked beside him quietly, her pink-gold eyes scanning everything with calm attention.

As they stepped off the ship, several nearby guards immediately turned toward them.

Those guards were not weak.

Every one of them carried terrifying pressure, and their bodies were covered in different symbols of ancient races and powerful inheritances.

Yet when they saw Volkrath, they only nodded. "Lord Volkrath."

Volkrath nodded back without stopping.

Garion looked around as they walked. "Nice place."

Atlas whispered beside him,

[That is not what you say when surrounded by beings who can probably erase star systems.]

Garion whispered back, "Should I say expensive place?"

[No.]

Rachel lightly squeezed his hand. "Garion."

Garion sighed. "Fine, fine."

After passing through several massive gates, they arrived before a side palace built from crimson-black volcanic stone.

Inside the palace, a powerful figure was already waiting. He sat on a high chair, his body even more oppressive than Volkrath’s.

The man looked like a middle-aged dragon noble, with long crimson-gold hair, darker volcanic horns, and eyes that burned like two molten suns.

His aura was far stronger than Volkraht’s, meaning he was either an exceptionally powerful Low-Rank God or an Intermediate-Rank God.

But he didn’t need to figure it out himself, as Atlas directly gave him the answer.

[Intermediate-Rank God.]

Hearing that, Garion’s eyes lit up slightly as he looked the Intermediate-Rank God up and down.

The dragon man slowly opened his eyes and looked at Garion.

Volkrath stepped forward and bowed his head slightly. "Elder."

The Mid Rank God ignored the greeting for a moment, his gaze fixed directly on Garion. "So..."

His voice was calm, but the entire palace trembled faintly beneath it. "You are Garion, huh?"

Garion met the Intermediate-Rank God’s gaze without lowering his head.

The pressure inside the crimson-black palace was already heavy enough to crush ordinary Celestial Realm cultivators into meat paste, but Garion only stood there with both hands in his pockets.

A grin slowly appeared on his face. "That’s right."

Rachel stood beside him calmly, her pink-gold eyes watching the dragon elder with quiet caution.

Garion continued, "I’m Garion."

He then glanced around the palace as if he was checking the decoration rather than standing before an Intermediate-Rank God. "The one here to join your godly meeting, right?"

Volkrath’s eyebrow twitched slightly.

Atlas immediately covered his tiny face.

[There it is.]

Garion looked back at the dragon elder. "So where is it?"

The palace became silent.

Garion tilted his head. "Can’t we just go now?"

The Volcanion guards standing nearby immediately frowned.

Even Volkrath paused for a brief moment, clearly not expecting Garion to speak that directly in front of this elder.

Rachel lightly touched Garion’s arm and whispered, "Garion."

Garion glanced at her. "What? I’m just asking."

Atlas muttered,

[You are asking an Intermediate-Rank God like he is a receptionist.]

Garion nodded. "A powerful receptionist."

[That is worse.]

The dragon elder finally narrowed his molten-gold eyes. "You are rather casual."

Garion shrugged. "People keep telling me that."

The dragon elder’s expression did not change much, but the air inside the palace suddenly became much heavier.

RUMBLE!

An invisible divine pressure descended, far stronger than anything Volkrath had ever unleashed.

The entire palace trembled beneath its weight, and everyone present, even Volkrath himself, struggled to endure it.

Garion, however, merely looked at the Dragon Elder with interest. A faint distortion appeared around his body, bending the divine pressure away from him and redirecting it elsewhere.

Rachel was much the same. Her love aura enveloped her body, effortlessly neutralizing the pressure.

Garion only grinned before saying, "What the hell are you doing now? Why are the others kneeling?"

The Dragon Elder’s eyes sharpened as he increased the pressure even further.

This time, even the formations within the palace activated, desperately trying to stabilize the trembling structure.

Meanwhile, all the guards were sprawled across the floor, their faces pale. None of them had ever imagined that the Dragon Elder would go this far.

Rachel’s gaze grew colder as the pink-gold light around her fingers slowly intensified.

Garion immediately raised a hand to stop her, wearing a confident grin that seemed to say he knew exactly what he was doing.

Rachel could only sigh and lower her hand. Even so, the energy surrounding her fingers did not dissipate in the slightest.

Garion looked back at the Dragon Elder, his grin widening. "Is that it?"

The Dragon Elder’s expression finally shifted, his brows furrowing.

Garion raised one hand and casually rolled his shoulder, as though testing whether the pressure was even enough for a warm-up. "Not bad. But if this is supposed to be your greeting..."

He looked directly at the Intermediate-Rank God and smiled. "You’re going to have to try much harder than that."

The dragon elder frowned deeply.

For the first time since Garion entered the palace, his calm expression showed a clear crack.

He had never thought that a being who was not even a true God could endure his divine pressure so casually.

More importantly, it was not only one person.

Garion stood there as if the pressure was nothing more than a slightly annoying breeze.

Rachel also remained beside him, protected by that strange pink-gold aura. Her expression was calm, but her eyes had already become sharper than before.

The dragon elder’s gaze moved between the two of them.

"Two non-Gods... both resisting my pressure?"

Even Volkrath watched in silence, his golden-red eyes flashing slightly.

He had already seen Garion’s abnormal power once, but Rachel’s ability to remain stable under the pressure of an Intermediate-Rank God still surprised him.

Garion suddenly smiled wider. "Well, now that you’ve greeted me..."

The dragon elder’s eyes narrowed.

Garion raised one hand casually. "Why don’t I greet you back?"

Atlas’s expression instantly changed.

[Garion, wait]

Garion snapped his fingers.

SNAP!

A point of pure white light appeared beside the dragon elder’s throne.

At first glance, it seemed like nothing more than a small, harmless white hole.

But just a second later, the space around it suddenly and violently expanded outward.

WUUUUUM!

A terrifying white sphere bloomed beside the dragon elder, releasing an overwhelming repulsive force.

The palace itself groaned under the strain as the formations screamed, desperately trying to stabilize the structure.

Meanwhile, the guards sprawled across the ground were instantly blasted farther away, tumbling across the floor like trash caught in a violent storm.

Even Volkrath’s robe snapped violently under the sudden force.

The dragon elder’s eyes changed as, for one brief instant, cold sweat appeared on the side of his face.

He immediately raised one clawed hand, and crimson-gold Divine Energy erupted to stabilize the surrounding space.

BOOOOM!

The [White Hole] continued expanding, pushing away divine pressure, volcanic energy, space, and even the dragon elder’s authority.

Garion stood there with his hand raised, grinning like a bastard who had just found a new toy. "Pretty neat, right?"

Rachel sighed softly beside him. "Garion..."

Atlas covered his face with both tiny hands.

[We have been here for less than ten minutes.]

The dragon elder stared at the white sphere beside him, then at Garion. His previous casual attitude disappeared completely.

"Just who the hell is this bastard?"
