Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off

Chapter 507: A Cute Little Brother Appears

Su Mingxuan walked steadily toward the open area where the fox tribe was busy building houses.

In his arms rested the three hungry cubs, while a clingy little figure, Mo Xiao Li, remained firmly attached to his leg like a determined koala.

The moment they entered the lively construction site, the three cubs suddenly started squirming with excitement. "Mama...!" they called softly.

"Mama! Mama!"

They began struggling in Su Mingxuan’s hold, their small bodies wriggling eagerly.

Su Mingxuan looked ahead and spotted his daughter right away. Su Qinglan turned her head at the noise. Before she could fully react, the three cubs jumped out of Su Mingxuan’s arms and rushed straight toward her on their unsteady legs.

"Mama! Mama! Milky! Milky!" they cried pitifully, their voices full of longing.

Su Qinglan immediately scooped them up into her embrace. "Oh, my babies are hungry!" she exclaimed, hugging them tightly against her chest. Her face glowed with pure maternal love as she held them close.

Then she looked up at her father. "Did you have fun with grandpa?" she asked gently.

The cubs nodded their heads seriously.

"Yes!"

"Very fun!"

"We worked hard!"

They answered in their adorable, earnest voices.

Su Mingxuan smiled slightly at their enthusiasm. But then his expression suddenly changed. He stared at her carefully, his brows furrowing with concern. "Lanlan... why are your lips so swollen?"

Su Qinglan froze on the spot. Her mind went completely blank for a second.

Suddenly, vivid flashes appeared in her mind, her four jealous, domineering husbands pinching and kissing her again and again in different places until she had felt dizzy with pleasure. They couldn’t control themselves after finding out she and Han Jue...

Her face turned bright red instantly. No way. She could NOT tell her father the real reason. It was far too embarrassing!

She coughed lightly to cover her panic. "Ahem... father, it’s just... a bee. A bee bit my lip." She forced a very stiff smile, hoping it looked convincing.

Su Mingxuan nodded seriously, accepting her explanation without suspicion. "I see. Take care of yourself. Don’t let anything bite you again."

Su Qinglan immediately nodded with exaggerated enthusiasm. "Yes, father! Of course! If any bee dares to bite me again, I will beat it to death!" she declared fiercely, trying to sound determined.

The three cubs paused and slowly looked up at her.

Something feels wrong... But they didn’t dare ask any questions and simply stayed quiet in her arms.

Su Mingxuan didn’t notice anything strange. He simply nodded in approval.

Then he cleared his throat. "Ahem... actually, I took the cubs to meet their grandma," he said while looking at her carefully, waiting for her reaction.

Su Qinglan blinked once, then nodded casually. "Oh, that’s good. They didn’t trouble you, right?"

The cubs immediately protested in unison.

"No!"

"We behaved!"

"We charmed grandma!"

"Grandma is very pretty!"

"Like a fairy!" they added proudly.

Su Qinglan burst into warm laughter. "Oh my god, you worked so hard! No wonder you’re so hungry!" She gently rubbed their little heads with affection.

Su Mingxuan nodded proudly. "Yes, they did very well. Your mother was very happy. She wants to see them again."

Su Qinglan waved her hand casually. "Of course, you can take them anytime. I’m busy with building anyway. They’ll just cause trouble here."

The cubs froze in shock.

"Huhh?!"

"We don’t cause trouble!" they looked at her with big, pitiful eyes, clearly feeling wronged.

But she ignored their dramatic expressions for now. "Next time I’ll give you milk powder," she added. "You can just make it for them when they’re hungry."

Su Mingxuan nodded in agreement. "Alright."

Just then, Su Qinglan felt something strange. A pair of eyes was staring at her very intensely. She frowned slightly and looked down.

There, a small boy was hiding shyly behind Su Mingxuan’s leg, peeking out at her. He had big black eyes, dark hair, and a cute face. He was quite tall, almost reaching her waist at such a young age. He was staring at her like she was some rare treasure.

Su Qinglan blinked in surprise. Then she looked at her father. "Father... who is he?"

Su Mingxuan suddenly remembered and smiled. "Oh!" He immediately pulled the boy forward gently. "Come here!"

Mo Xiao Li stumbled forward a few steps.

"Greet your elder sister," Su Mingxuan instructed. "She is your elder sister. And these are her cubs."

Mo Xiao Li froze for a moment. Then his face turned bright red with shyness. He quickly bowed his head politely. "Hello, eldest sister! I am Mo Xiao Li!" he said in a sweet, loud voice.

Silence fell for a brief second.

Su Qinglan’s eyes widened in shock. "Eldest sister?!" She stared at the little boy, then suddenly burst into bright laughter. "Oh my god! You’re so cute!"

She reached out and patted his head affectionately. "How did I suddenly get such a sweet younger brother?"

Mo Xiao Li grinned widely, showing two small, sharp canines. "I came to help you!" he said proudly. "To take care of my nephews!"

Su Qinglan froze again, then laughed even harder. "You... came to take care of your nephews?" She looked at his body and then at the three cubs in her arms. "But you are also a cub!"

Mo Xiao Li puffed his chest out bravely. "I am strong! I can protect them!"

The three cubs looked at him, then looked away in clear disbelief.

Su Qinglan couldn’t stop laughing at the scene. This little boy was too serious and too funny at the same time.

Su Qinglan soon showed her father how to make the powdered milk for the cubs. She took out the milk powder and explained the steps clearly.

"Father, first boil some clean water and let it cool down until it’s warm. Then measure this much powder," she said, showing him with her hands. "Mix it well until there are no lumps. See? It becomes smooth milk like this."

Su Mingxuan watched carefully and nodded. "I see. It looks easy enough."

After demonstrating, the three cubs immediately drank the milk with happy little sounds. They gulped it down quickly, their small bellies becoming full.

Su Qinglan smiled as she watched them. "Good boys. Now you won’t cry anymore."

She decided not to take the cubs with her. She was very busy with the house building.

"Father, it would be much better if you could take care of them today," she said. "I have to go check on the new stone house."
