Sein and Thor communicated privately through mental focus, so no one heard their conversation.
When Sein mentioned the “Golden Apple”, Thor furrowed his brow and then shook his head.
“I ate plenty of those when I was a child, but my mother sealed off the Golden Apple Orchard twenty thousand years ago. Now they are classified as ‘strategic resources’, so I cannot just take them freely anymore.”
“What a pity. If you had asked me twenty thousand years ago, I could have gotten you some,” he added with a shrug.
“Is that so? That’s too bad!” Sein sighed.
The Golden Apple was something Sein had come across while studying in Sky City.
The Golden Apple Tree was considered one of the top divine artifacts in the entire Magus Alliance, and its fruit was said to possess incredible properties.
The vials of Amethyst Aphid Honeydew Sein had recently acquired from the Sandworm Queen’s breeding project were already treasures in their own right.
Yet compared to the value of the Golden Apple, those vials of honeydew were nothing.
The two were simply not in the same league.
