“I have another question,” Lex said, trying to probe further. “You said that you manage and maintain the systems. But my system is severely damaged, and I’m the only one who has been working step by step to repair it. Why haven’t you ever stepped in to fix it?”
“Although your system is damaged, it is functioning correctly. A self repair function is present in all systems in case of damage, so there is no need for additional action on my part. The portion of the conversation segregated for small talk is now over. Please make your decision regarding the Custom quest.”
Lex clicked his tongue. Why was this guy in such a rush?
“I accept the quest,” he said decisively.
