Chapter 311 An Junxi is an Outsider
Gu Jinxiu heard that his aunt was coming back, he hid the necklace and went downstairs. Baby Ai Xi had never seen her aunt, but her grandma had shown her aunt’s photo, so she took the initiative to say, "Auntie," without any prompting from the adults.
Gu Qianlan really liked her chubby little niece. Little Ai Xi looked so much like her brother; she would definitely be a beauty in the future.

Gu Qianlan looked evasive and said, "I got bored staying in the United States, so I came back to have some fun. I was staying at Sister Si Rui’s place earlier."
"Why did you hide it from the family?"

Baby Ai Xi sensed that something was wrong. She ran in small steps to her mommy’s arms, blinking her big eyes at the unfamiliar aunt.
Liang Huiyun didn’t want to scare Ai Xi, so they called Gu Qianlan up to the study on the second floor. An Junxi stayed on the first floor with the children. She had no idea what they talked about, but Gu Qianlan stormed out of the study, slamming the door. "I’m grown up now; I don’t need you to control me!"
Ai Xi held tightly to her brother’s hand. "So fierce!"
Gu Jinxiu reassured his sister not to be afraid. "Auntie is often unreasonable."
An Junxi found it somewhat amusing. Jinxiu was becoming more like a little grown-up.
Gu Qianlan returned to her room. All the things on her vanity had been moved, and she couldn’t find her necklace.
Furious, she walked out of the room and grabbed a servant by the collar. "Who cleaned today? I said not to move anything in my room! Are you deaf? Who stole my necklace?"
The necklace wasn’t particularly valuable; it was something Yin Feibai had given her, and she still needed to return it to him.
In the past, she shamelessly clung to him, but now she had come to her senses and no longer wanted to keep anything of his.
The servant was frightened by the young lady’s anger. "The young master and young miss were playing hide and seek in the room and accidentally broke something. I only cleaned up; I really didn’t steal anything."

Her actions scared Gu Aixi to tears, and Gu Jinxiu was also angry with his aunt. "Auntie, how could you do that!"
An Junxi hugged her daughter tightly. "Gu Qianlan, who provoked you again? Are you done being crazy?"

Even at such a young age, Ai Xi understood that her aunt was scolding her mommy. She picked up a building block and threw it at Gu Qianlan. "Bad person!"

Gu Jinxiu stood in front of his sister. "Auntie, it’s you who are rude; you shouldn’t scold my sister!"
Gu Qianlan pointed at her nephew. "Jinxiu, how could she corrupt even you? She shouldn’t have come back to our family, especially since she didn’t even give birth to a son!"
Liang Huiyun and Gu Kuangyong heard the commotion and came downstairs. Upon hearing what Gu Qianlan said, Gu Kuangyong was enraged, and he slapped his daughter. "Slap!"
An Junxi turned around and covered Ai Xi’s eyes. Ai Xi was still frightened by the sound of the slap and cried, "Waa, I’m scared..."
Gu Kuangyong said, "Jun Xi, take Ai Xi upstairs."
Gu Qianlan wouldn’t let go. "Dad, you hit me for her? She’s an outsider, and you hit me for her!"
Liang Huiyun yelled, "Gu Qianlan, you’re not young anymore. How can you speak with no sense of propriety? She is your sister-in-law!"
"She’s not worthy of being my sister-in-law! How long has she been married into the family? The moment I’m not home, she dares to let the kids make a mess in my room and steal my necklace. If I were a few days later, would there be no place for me in this house? She’s clearly here for the Gu family’s inheritance!"
An Junxi asked Mrs. He to take Ai Xi upstairs. "Jinxiu, you go upstairs too." She couldn’t let this go without getting to the bottom of it.
Gu Jinxiu followed Mrs. He upstairs. He went to his room and called his dad. "Dad, Auntie is back home. She said Mommy isn’t part of our family and scolded my sister. Dad, please come back quickly."
Gu Yi Ke got up immediately after receiving the call. Gu Qianlan really needed some discipline!
"I’m coming back right now."
Gu Jinxiu took out the necklace. Was this the necklace Auntie was talking about?
He pried open the black pendant, took some photos with his phone, and sent them to Uncle Yu Chen.
He also wanted to take it to Wansu Technology tomorrow to have Uncle Yu Chen look at it. But now that Auntie’s back, he had to give it back to her; otherwise, she might think Mommy took it on purpose.
An Junxi sat on the sofa. "Gu Qianlan, did you come back home just to tell me that I’m not part of the Gu family?"
In front of her parents, Gu Qianlan didn’t back down. "You don’t have the Gu surname, An Junxi, and you don’t deserve my brother!"
"Dad, Mom, I still call you Dad and Mom today. You heard what Gu Qianlan said. If you still condone her behavior today, then I’ll have to leave with the children, so you won’t think I’m here for the Gu family’s inheritance."
Gu Qianlan glared at her. "An Junxi, are you threatening my parents? If you want to leave, just leave. Go as far as you can. Do you think having a daughter makes you a great benefactor of the Gu family?"
Gu Kuangyong raised his hand again. Gu Qianlan dodged to the side. "Dad, you can’t hit me for her!"

Liang Huiyun was exhausted, her daughter was incorrigible, and she had no way to help her. "Gu Qianlan, it was I who let the two children play in your room. Are you going to scold me too?"
Gu Qianlan felt that the whole family had changed. "Mom, you don’t want me now that you have a granddaughter?"
Liang Huiyun was heartbroken by her daughter. They had spoiled Gu Qianlan, and it was all their fault.
Compared to raising children, she was less competent than An Junxi.
She knew An Junxi’s temperament. If she still sided with her daughter this time, An Junxi might never return to the Gu family, and they would lose a son and two grandchildren.
