Chapter 310: Necklace
An Junxi stood on her tiptoes and kissed him, "Is this okay?"
Gu Yikun whispered, "Not enough. When are you going to try on that outfit?"
An Junxi felt annoyed. Why did he bring that up again!
She opened the car door for him, "Get in quickly, Uncle Cheng has been waiting for you a long time."
Uncle Cheng in the driver’s seat almost took a nap. This couple was so reluctant to part every day. The young master used to value efficiency the most, but now it takes him at least half an hour to leave.

An Junxi spread her hands. Ai Xi learned to talk quickly, but she was still under two years old, so they had to accommodate her when playing games.
Gu Jin Xiu pretended to search around, "Hmm? Where did my sister hide?"
Liang Huiyun watched delightedly, and An Junxi, not wanting to disturb their playtime, returned to her room to continue reading.
Time quickly reached noon, and An Junxi, immersed in her book, suddenly heard the sound of something breaking from Gu Qianlan’s room, followed by Ai Xi starting to cry.
She put down her book and ran over. Her mother-in-law wasn’t in the room. The two kids had knocked over stuff on Gu Qianlan’s dressing table, breaking a vase.
"Are you hurt?"
An Junxi picked up Ai Xi and checked her. There was a cut on her little foot, but no other injuries.
She breathed a sigh of relief, "Jin Xiu, what about you?"
Gu Jin Xiu raised his hand, showing a small cut on his finger.
Ai Xi cried in her mommy’s arms, "Scared."
Liang Huiyun came in at this moment, shocked by the shards on the floor, "I just left for a moment, how did this happen..."
An Junxi comforted her daughter, "Don’t be scared, isn’t Ai Xi the bravest? It’s okay now."
Gu Jin Xiu apologized to them, "I didn’t watch my sister well, she got scared."
An Junxi saw Gu Jin Xiu’s guilt and didn’t want the child to take all the responsibility, "It’s okay. You learn from mistakes. Just remember to be more careful next time."

It was a necklace. The pendant had been smashed, revealing a small black sphere inside.
He examined it suspiciously; what was it?
His intuition told him there shouldn’t be such a thing inside the necklace, it must be something special.
When he saw the necklace was broken, his first reaction was worrying about getting scolded by his aunt when she returned. Upon hearing his mom’s approaching footsteps, he quickly stuffed the necklace back into his pocket.
He didn’t even know why he did that, maybe because he was too curious.
After looking at it for a while, it seemed familiar, like he had seen it in a book somewhere.
He went to his dad’s study, searched the bookshelves for a long time, and found a book on the latest technological research.
Right, this thing looked somewhat like the pictures in the book, which he had read before and remembered a bit of.
