Ivita, transformed into a peregrine falcon, circled above the sea, while the massive octopus sea monster raised its tentacles beneath the surface. As agile as a moving reef, the tentacle aimed to crash into the flagship where Ivita was stationed.
Due to the significant changes in the water current, the sailors on the ship began to realize something was wrong, and cries of alarm rang out.
The water seemed to tilt, causing all six ships to slide towards the lower water level.
The octopus sea monster, like a hill under the sea, stared with eyes signifying death, watching coldly as the six ships slid towards the abyss, heading for destruction.
Ivita watched the underwater monster. As a falcon, her vision was very good, allowing her to easily see the actual entity of the sea monster under the water surface. It was an enormous octopus with a bull’s head, its body resembling that of an ape, a head like a cow, and the tail composed of a dozen tentacles churning the waters.
The Bullhead Octopus Sea Monster shifted its icy gaze over to Ivita transformed into a falcon, then continued to watch over the about-to-capsize ships with its eye as large as an adult’s.
Ivita noticed that it seemed not to have seen her, mistaking her for an ordinary falcon.
So, it showed no reaction.
The sailors and pirates on the six ships were yelling in fright, those recently-joined pirates being the most pessimistic.
"What sort of monster is beneath our ship? We’re done for. But if we jump into the sea, can we really escape this beast? Plus, there are those three angry melon monsters on board watching us."
"Hold onto the railing, don’t fall off the ship, oh god, the ship’s nearly standing upright, we must grab onto the rail."
