On the fifth day of their journey, Ivita encountered a two-masted pirate ship in the early morning. Their fleet, as always, went straight for it, attempting to get within the optimal range to fire their Seize-ship Iron Claws and capture the enemy ship. But to their surprise, the pirate ship turned tail and fled the moment they saw Ivita’s fleet.

Ten minutes later, Captain Sam entered Ivita’s cabin to report: "Boss, I’m sorry, we were not able to catch up with those pirates. It seems that whenever they see us, they run away immediately. They must have some kind of speed-enhancing components on their ship, which left us far behind."

"It seems they have heard of us."

"But I believe there are still plenty of smaller pirates in this area who haven’t."

Ivita nodded, and said to Captain Sam, "Then we don’t need to chase them. How far are we from the Transit Sea?"

Captain Sam thought for a moment, then said, "We’ll need two more days."

He was secretly amazed. Last time they were in these waters, they had to hide and be extremely cautious to avoid pirates. But now, as they sailed with Ivita, they actively approached every pirate ship they saw, hunting them down instead.

Usually, Ivita would leave about ten obedient pirates on the hunted ships to keep them operational as his fleet’s auxiliary vessels.

The rest of the extra pirates would simply be tossed into the sea.

When the remaining pirates saw Ivita’s strict measures, naturally they dared not to act rashly, let alone betray him easily.
