After Dawang got stuck, he put down the pole. Erwang immediately ran over and took down the cicadas and removed the impurities on the gluten. After checking it, if it wasn’t enough, he would add a bit more to make sure it was sticky.
When Dawang was catching cicadas, his movements were small yet sharp, so few cicadas would, if ever, be alarmed. Even if it flew up in an attempt to avoid him, it wouldn’t fly far and only end up somewhere near the original branch.
