Leon turned to look at Jake. "Yeah, what is it?" he asked.
"Before I entered the test, Seer and Rion told me how the tests had made many people suffer Mana madness, yet I didn’t feel anything that could threaten my sanity or anything like that," Jake said.
Leon paused when he heard that. He stared at Jake for a few seconds and then walked closer to him.
"What you are telling me is that inside the test, you didn’t feel any pull on your Mana? It didn’t feel like something was trying to disrupt your flow?" he asked. Seer and Rion also paid attention, wanting to hear what Jake would say.
"There was nothing. It just felt like a normal real world to me," Jake replied.
"Oh my word," Leon exclaimed. He scratched his head a bit harder, looked at Seer with eyes that said are you hearing this? and then looked back at Jake.
"Listen to me, kid. You see all these runes inside this dome? You know what they are for?" he asked.
"To change the place—she makes it look like a different place for the exam?" Jake replied.
"You really don’t know," Leon said. He turned and looked at Seer. "Did you really not tell him what the test was?" Leon asked.
