"Queen?" The giant serpent let out a chilling laugh, "What is she, and why should we abide by her will?"
As it spoke, the serpent fiercely lashed its tail, and Nathias thrust down with his trident.
The trident, being a Divine Artifact, possessed considerable power. The giant serpent roared in pain, and Nathias also suffered, being violently flung away. Before he could stabilize himself, a giant crab clamped him from behind.
"You wretched Demon Beasts, I should have urged Her Majesty to exterminate you all!" Nathias wasn’t injured, but he was in a pitiful state.
"Exterminate?" The octopus monster was provoked, its eight tentacles sweeping wildly. Facing the attack of a level twelve Demon Beast, the sea soldiers were utterly helpless.
"Yes, exterminate all you despicable races," Nathias took a deep breath as the sudden onslaught of the level twelve beast completely disrupted the sea folk’s formation.
Nathias was well aware of these four marine dominators. Their lifespans were even longer than the Queen’s. Although bound by the limits of life ranks, they could never break through to the divine realm, their strength was formidable. Facing these ancient super sea monsters, numbers wouldn’t solve the problem; overwhelming combat power was needed to suppress them.
"Retreat!" Nathias made a quick decision, ordering the sea folk to retreat.
The empire didn’t initiate a pursuit, merely watching silently as the enemy slowly withdrew from the battlefield.
Regardless, they had won, repelling the sea folk in their own domain.
