Xie Zhongxing had guessed right; on the third day after Lu Hong’s return, Nathias, pressing down internal dissent after the queen’s slumber, took up the heavy burden of leading the sea tribe and launched an attack on the empire’s garrison stationed on the island.
Although the sea tribe’s attack was sudden, Xie Zhongxing had fully prepared for it. As soon as the sea tribe stepped within ten miles of the isolated island, they were detected and lost the element of surprise. The first magical defense line was established by the empire’s mages, who cast spells freely at the approaching sea tribe.

"All troops prepare, for a battle in the sea!" Xie Zhongxing commanded in a low voice as the soldiers, stationed behind the defensive works, fearlessly crossed the defenses to meet the endless sea tribe.
Holding the War Holy Sword in hand, Lu Hong took the lead at the forefront.
Nathias stepped forward, staring fixedly at Lu Hong, "It’s you!"
"It’s me," Lu Hong grinned, "I accidentally let you go last time. Not this time."
"Without the domain of a Heavenly God to suppress me, do you think you can be my match?" Nathias couldn’t admit his previous defeat. Now as the leader of the sea tribe, he had managed to stabilize the turbulent internal chaos of the sea tribe, and he absolutely could not afford to lose face now.
"Let’s give it a try," Lu Hong’s eyes twinkled with a hint of amusement.
