With the mist array hiding him, there wasn’t a single person that noticed him watching.

Though Lin Fan was certainly surprised that there were this many people gathered in the first place.

All of them were naturally disciples from the Five Great Sects, though it seemed like there were more disciples from the righteous sects than from the Heavenly Demon Sect.

At the same time, it seemed like those that came from the righteous sects were grouping up as if they were working together. It was as if there was something here that had encouraged them to group up like this.

But the more surprising thing was that there were those that had given up on challenging the pavilion to gather like this.

Lin Fan recognized a few faces since he had been to the pavilion that Xiao Mu opened for the righteous sect disciples. He had to claim the authority from that pavilion and he had seen some of those disciples while he passed by.

Which was also why he remembered their faces and recognized them in the crowd just now.

For them to gather like this, it really seemed like it was something quite large that it convinced them to stop trying to break through the pavilion.

It didn’t seem like they were actually fighting anything even though the words that they said made it sound like they were fighting. In the end, it seemed like they were all gathering for some kind of meeting.

"We can’t keep letting them get away with this."

"How many times has this happened already?"

Lin Fan couldn’t help feeling confused when he heard this, but there was a part of him that could guess what had happened.

When he heard what they had to say next, that was when he realized what it was.

"It seems like Han Ba has been busy."

Lin Fan thought that Han Ba would at most beat a few of the disciples from the righteous sects, but it seemed like he had been on a rampage during this time.

It seemed like it had reached a point where they had called out the ones that had been trying to break through the pavilion and even then they were beaten up.

So that was why they had grouped up together like this since they wanted to take care of Han Ba before he could do anything else.

But it wasn’t as if Lin Fan was going to let them do that.

Since he had the ability to stop them, there was no reason for him not to stop them.

The only real question was how he was going to do this so that they would get it into their heads to stop causing trouble. At the same time, there was a part of him that was worried that some of them might be hiding something that would be hard to deal with.

However, Lin Fan did think of a way to deal with them in the end.

Once they had finished gathering, this group of disciples from the righteous sects started to move together.

Even if they were filled with anger and indignation, that didn’t mean that they completely lost their rational thought. It wasn’t as if they were going to charge through the mist and try to find the one that they were looking for.

Which was why Lin Fan was able to bring them to the perfect location.

As long as he followed them while hiding in the mist, he was able to guide them exactly where he wanted to go.

"Is that a pavilion?"

Though it wasn’t what they were looking for, it wasn’t as if they were going to give up this opportunity.

Even before someone said anything, there were those that had already spotted this pavilion and had come up with some ideas. They wanted the things that were inside of the pavilion, so it even seemed like they were planning on using the others that were with them.

It seemed like even though they grouped up together like this, everyone still had their own goals and ideas.

It was only a matter of time before they clashed, but it wasn’t as if Lin Fan was going to wait that long.

"Are these the dorms of the disciples?"

"No, that’s not important. Look over there."

"Are those ghosts?"

Even though they were meeting ghosts, it didn’t seem like the disciples of the righteous sects were afraid of them. The ones that were smarter even seemed like they wanted to use these ghosts for their own devices.

After all, these were ghosts that had once been a part of the Dao Sect.

They could at least recognize that based on the uniforms that the ghosts were wearing.

If they were ghosts of the former disciples of the Dao Sect, then they should know where the treasures were.

As long as they were able to win over these ghosts, it would be much easier for them to claim the treasures that they had been looking for. There would no longer be a need to wander around like headless chicken, like they had been doing so far.

It was just that they didn’t know how to approach the ghosts.

At first, it didn’t seem like anyone was going to go forward to talk to the ghosts. But in the end, it seemed like there was someone that couldn’t take it anymore and just went for it.

From the way that he moved, it was clear that there was no plan at all in his mind.

The only thing that he was thinking was trying to get ahead of the others by being the first one that made contact with the ghosts.

Only the moment that he came forward, he found that the ghosts all suddenly looked at him.

A chill ran down the spine of this righteous sect disciple the moment that the ghost turned to look at him. After all, he could see that the way these ghosts looked at him didn’t seem to have any good intentions at all.

It seemed like they wanted something from him and that something wouldn’t be good for him.

Which was why he really wanted to turn and run, but he couldn’t do that since everyone was watching him. If he were to really turn and run at this point, then it would completely destroy his reputation.

"I just want to have a little..."

The righteous sect disciple didn’t even get to finish what he was about to say when the ghosts suddenly lunged out at him. They didn’t care what it was that he was doing, they just seemed to want to beat the ever living sh*t out of him.

"What is happening?" The righteous sect disciple thought when he saw this, but it wasn’t as if he had the time to figure it out.

The only thing that mattered right now was getting out of the way of the ghosts before they could reach him. Which was why he suddenly turned around and ran in the direction of the other righteous sect disciples.

While he didn’t know what was happening, he could at least use them to throw off the ghosts that were chasing him.

The moment that those other righteous sect disciples saw him running over while being chased by the ghosts, they all couldn’t help cursing him in their minds. But it wasn’t as if cursing him would help them, so all they could do was turn and run as well.

They were all planning on leaving that one righteous sect disciple behind so that he wouldn’t implicate them.

It was just that one righteous sect disciple had a special cultivation technique that allowed him to boost his speed. It didn’t actually make him that much stronger, but it did make him much faster than any of the other righteous sect disciples.

So it was impossible for them to outrun him in the end.

"Don’t come over here!" They shouted at him when they saw him speed up like this, but it didn’t matter what they said as he didn’t seem to listen at all.

The only thing that one righteous sect disciple cared about was getting as far away from the ghosts as possible.

So in the end, the ghosts were able to catch up to the other righteous sect disciples since they moved faster than them as well.

"Wait, we’re not looking to..."

It didn’t matter what the righteous sect disciples said as the ghosts released their attacks in their direction. So in the end, the righteous sect disciples had no choice but to fight back even though they clearly didn’t want to.

As this fight happened, the noise from the fighting actually drew in more ghosts that lived in this place.

It was as if there were endless ghosts that were coming out of the dorms that were all prepared to fight the righteous sect disciples.

Seeing this, they could only reveal bitter smiles.

But after taking that one moment to feel down about themselves, they started looking around for a way to escape this place.

Only while they were doing this, there was a mist that suddenly started rolling in.

There was nothing that they could do as the mist rolled in and blocked off the surrounding area. Only it didn’t seem like the mist was stopping there as it continued approaching them.

Soon, they were completely covered in the mist and they couldn’t even see who was in front of them.

But that didn’t stop the huge brawl that was still happening.
