The Exalted Prince Lives Again

Chapter 4: Curtains and Leaves

In the middle of the night, Remiel suddenly woke up due to a certain buzzing sound in his ears.

No matter what he did, it wouldn’t go away, which pissed him off to no extent.

In frustration, he tried pulling up the curtains when he suddenly realized something.

If the city started searching for the graverobbers, the curtains would make him a prime suspect.

He needed to ditch that.

But before that, he needed something else to cover up his entire body.

He stood up and walked deeper into the ’open garden’—the only place nearby with virtually no people.

As he strode inside the ’garden’ further, the trees became denser, and the night became even quieter.

It was probably not the safest bet to wander in the forest this late at night, but it was still a lot safer than being among a lot of people and possibly running into the city officials.

Suddenly, his ears perked up as he heard the soft sound of flowing water in the distance.

He quickened his pace and cautiously approached the sound.
