Chapter 3: A Stranger to his Own World
Finally, Remiel saw the sky.
Dark grey, wide, and infinite.
It was a beautiful full moon, but there wasn’t a single star in sight.
The night felt serene and vast.
And Remiel St. Clair was very much alone in that.
A sudden cool breeze slapped against his bare skin, making him shiver from the cold and waking him up from his daze.
’I should cover myself up before heading out.’ Remiel thought, as he looked around, searching for some clothes, but all he saw was an extensive, beautifully maintained garden with a vast variety of flowers ever-present in there.
At a distance, he could see colorful lights present everywhere outside the boundary of this location.
Lights meant that there were humans still outside, and he couldn’t possibly go out butt naked like this.
His pride as a royal and his decency as a human being didn’t allow him to.
There were some smaller guard posts around, but they had lights on. He couldn’t risk it.
