Yang Yi was still practicing his Serendipitous Marksmanship, but he had hit a bottlenecks. After a slight improvement in his marksmanship, nearly two weeks had passed, and no matter how much he practiced, he didn’t feel like he was making any progress.
His marksmanship seemed to stay the same, but Yang Yi was here to learn to fly, and his progress in this area had earned everyone’s admiration.
Not to mention anyone else, Hegelhaus was certainly convinced.
Yang Yi had already flown the advanced trainers, and after being taken up three times by Hegelhaus in one, he could take off and land on his own. After two more flights, he was able to fly solo.
Yang Yi didn’t know how he compared to other pilots, but he knew that at this air force base, he was the man whom everyone had to acknowledge as superior.
In four days, Yang Yi had completed the basic training on the advanced trainers, and then he took to the skies in an F16.
After several flights in the F16, Yang Yi was ready to fly transport aircraft.
However, the main function of this air force base was to protect Washington D.C., and since there were no transport aircraft here, the upside was its proximity to the CIA’s training camp, a mere two-hour drive away. He would go there daily with Hegelhaus by car, but if he wanted to fly a C130, he would have to switch to another airport.
Thus, Yang Yi would have many days when he couldn’t practice his Serendipitous Marksmanship.
