Norbert’s first reaction was to call the police, but remembering that Heidi was already being questioned by the police, his only thought was to hurry to Heidi’s house as quickly as possible.
He made two more calls on the way, but of course, they went unanswered, so Norbert stopped calling and focused on driving as fast as he could to his girlfriend’s place.
When Norbert arrived at the entrance to his girlfriend’s house, he was curious why there were no police cars at the door, but all he could think was that the police might have already left.
Norbert parked his car by the roadside, and as he was about to ring the doorbell, he found the gate was open. As he entered the yard and noticed a strange car, he was puzzled for only a moment.
The living room door was also open. Norbert walked in with confusion, but before he could figure out what had happened, he heard a moan that was louder than the last.
Norbert’s face turned pale as numbness spread through his body. He wanted to go in and see what had happened but also wanted to turn and leave, to get as far away from Heidi’s house as he could.
Confusion, astonishment, fear, disappointment, and sadness overwhelmed Norbert like a tsunami until he began to grieve and to rage.
The grief-stricken Norbert decided he couldn’t just turn and walk away without seeing what had happened, so he quickly headed toward Heidi’s bedroom.
Standing at the door of Heidi’s bedroom, Norbert was stunned by the scene before him.
As speechless Norbert stood frozen, it was eventually the muscular man lying on the bed who noticed him.
