In the eyes of people like Anton, for most people, most secrets aren’t really secrets most of the time.
Through body language and facial expressions, Anton could read a person’s psychological changes, so he didn’t even need to communicate with Heidi to know what she was thinking.
And by now, even the least professional person would know what Heidi was going to do.
The car carrying Heidi arrived at her home and then the courtyard gate closed. The two got out of the car without a hug but entered the house with laughter and chatter.
Anton, who had arrived even earlier by car, picked up his phone after witnessing the scene and dialed Hans, whispering, "The two of them are home, and I think they won’t wait too long to hit the bed, so you need to get Norbert here quickly."
Hans whispered back, "Understood."
After hanging up, Anton let out a sigh and then slowly walked towards Heidi’s house.
Reaching Heidi’s doorstep, Anton looked around to ensure no one was there. He then sprinted a few steps, grabbed the railing on the wall, lightly leaped over the fence, and landed without making a sound.
He quickly walked a few steps in the yard, crouched at the door, and carefully listened to the sounds coming from inside the house.
There was laughter and talking in the living room, but it wasn’t loud. After the TV was turned on, only muffled sounds could be heard.
Anton squatted motionlessly at the door for a while; the development was slower than expected. It seemed that the two inside had been maintaining their current relationship for a while and didn’t appear to be in a rush; instead, they were chatting about trivial matters.
