Spy-x-War Showdown

Chapter 484 - 472 Uncontrollable

Speaking of which, Yang Yi, Zhang Yong, and Brian were all cellmates.

But the so-called Security Bureau Prison was just a secret detention facility, unlike Pelican Bay Prison, which housed thousands. When Yang Yi was brought into the so-called prison by Karinichenko, his first reaction was, "This counts as a prison?"

It was just a small area with not a large floor space. The facilities inside were quite outdated—no iron bars, no numbered cells, only small cabins each fitted with an iron door.

The political situation in Ukraine had been completely overturned, so naturally, the Ukrainian Security Bureau couldn’t avoid a major internal purge; hence, the prison was essentially full.

To put it bluntly, the Ukrainian National Security Bureau’s prison was a black site, definitely not listed within the Ukrainian judicial system’s records. The prisoners held here were either captured spies or internal personnel of the Security Bureau.

Yang Yi never knew Karinichenko’s true identity, but given that he could come and go in the Security Bureau Prison as he pleased, this man was either holding a high position within the bureau or he was a puppet for some bigshot. Regardless, he definitely had ways to get people out of prison.

There was a small window on the iron door that could be opened. Karinichenko stopped in front of a door, then he opened its small window, gesturing for Yang Yi and the others to look inside.

Yang Yi glanced inside; the cell contained only a bed, on which a very young-looking man sat dejectedly, his head hung low. He still wore army boots on his feet, camo pants on his legs, but only a vest on his torso.

Upon hearing the sound of the window being opened, the young man trapped in the cell suddenly shouted, "Let me out! Damn it, you shameless parasites—I’ll slaughter you, let me out!"
