At 6:55 PM, Yang Yi and his team found the restaurant Justin had mentioned—a small place that was clean and tidy but by no means could it be associated with words like upscale or expensive.
They walked into the restaurant and Yang Yi quickly realized that the place was actually quite busy, with almost every table filled.
Yang Yi soon spotted Justin, who was sitting at a table by the window. Justin also saw Yang Yi and immediately waved his hand, smiling and saying, "Come over and sit."
Yang Yi approached Justin, who pointed to the chair next to him and said, "Sit here, someone else will be joining us shortly."
Justin had invited only Yang Yi to sit, regardless of how high Brian’s position was within the Organization of Water, it seemed there was no place for him at Justin’s table.
Brian and Zhang Yong silently walked over and sat down at an empty table nearby.
Yang Yi sat down next to Justin and asked in a low voice, "Why choose a place like this?"
The restaurant was noisy with many people talking, though no one was speaking loudly, the chatter was still a constant buzz.
Justin looked around and smiled, "Because the food here is delicious, and it’s inconspicuous, which makes it convenient for discussing matters. Just wait a moment, the person I’ve arranged to meet us will be here soon."
"Who is it?"
"Don’t ask so many questions. Just remember this, for each person you choose, pay them fifty thousand US dollars. Fifty thousand per person. Just take away the ones you like, and don’t bother with the rest."
