Chris and Hank, they were certainly well-acquainted, and after both became Yang Yi’s underlings, their relationship wasn’t too bad.
One was a con artist, the other a thief, perhaps that gave them more in common.
Hank and Chris walked out of the country villa where they had been hiding. The weather was a bit cold, and a light rain was falling. Hank looked up at the sky and couldn’t help saying, "Fuck! This damn weather, raining every day, wet and cold, a rotten place."
Chris didn’t make a sound; he just pulled his woolen coat tighter around himself.
"Are you really going to stay and mix with them?"
Chris nodded.
Hank couldn’t resist saying, "But haven’t you thought about how dangerous it is? Now I believe they are indeed spies, after all, only spies would deal with MI5. But look at them now, you’re just a scammer, you’ll die!"
Chris looked at Hank and said, "Can you not call me a scammer? Have I ever called you a thief?"
"I’m a grand thief, not a petty one."
"So should I ask you to honor me as a master scammer instead of just a scammer?"
Hank waved his hand, impatiently saying, "Alright, alright, Chris, have you really decided? To hang with a bunch of spies who could get killed at any moment?"
