Chapter 242 - 241 Irene is in trouble (Part 1)
Sophie Smith tried hard to speak, attempting to explain, but Irene Morton did not give her the chance.
She directly dragged her suitcase downstairs.
Sophie watched Irene go downstairs and saw Nanny Garcia taking over her luggage. From such a distance, Sophie couldn’t hear what they were talking about.
In the end, Nanny Garcia called the driver to send Irene off in the car.
So, did Irene really leave just like that?
Sophie’s feelings were a bit complicated; she couldn’t quite describe how she felt. Perhaps it was Irene’s attitude that left her somewhat disappointed.
She returned to her room, sitting idly in front of the computer. Feeling truly bored, she simply went straight to bed and took a good nap.
When she woke up, it was already dark.
Sophie heard the sound of a car horn, then the iron gate opening, and she knew that Asher Land had come back.
She turned over, continuing to sleep.
Not long after, he was upstairs. Faintly, she heard Nanny Garcia’s voice outside the door.
"Young Master, Miss Irene went back to Europe today. No matter how busy you are with work, you should have seen her off. She was crying when she left..."
"Also, Miss Smith seemed to be in a bad mood today. She didn’t have lunch and has been sleeping all afternoon in her room..."
"She didn’t have lunch?" Asher Land furrowed his brows with displeasure, a hint of concern in his voice.
The master bedroom door was suddenly opened, and Sophie pretended to be asleep with her eyes closed.
A slightly cold body suddenly slipped into the blanket, embracing her from behind.
"I heard you didn’t have lunch? Were you waiting for me to come back and ’feed’ you?" His large hand restlessly slipped into her nightgown, firmly kneading her soft parts.
Although she wanted to keep pretending to sleep hard, it seemed her act fell apart in front of him in a second.
She couldn’t hold back, a moan escaping her lips, and Asher Land curled his lips in satisfaction at her response.
"Don’t mess around..." Her small hand nervously tried to stop his reckless behavior.
He wouldn’t listen, pressing her beneath him and gently kissing her lips.
Where did he get this energy from, after a full day of work, isn’t he tired?
"You, must be tired, get some, get some rest early." A simple sentence came out haltingly from her mouth.
"Thank you for your concern, my dear, but I’m not tired!" He curled his attractive lips, a hint of pride in his eyes, "You should have faith in your man’s ’strength’."
What in the world?
Sophie still wanted to refuse, but he roughly tore off her nightgown.
Without the heater on in the room, Sophie felt a gust of cold wind sweep through, making her shiver.
"Cold..." she blurted out.
"Don’t worry, it’ll get warm soon."
"..."
He was right; in no time, she was dripping with fragrant sweat.
Tonight, she didn’t particularly resist him; on the contrary, there was a tendency to cooperate a bit.
She was terrified of this feeling, as if her body was no longer under her own control, completely conquered by him.
Suddenly, Asher Land’s phone rang at this inappropriate moment.
He ignored it, reaching out to turn off the phone and tossing it aside.
But only a short while after tossing the phone, the door was knocked once more.
The Land Family’s servants would never be so tactless as to knock on the master bedroom door at such a time.
Sophie thought maybe someone had made a mistake, but a few seconds later, the door was knocked again, and the knocking became more and more urgent.
