Chapter 9: Stepping Outside After Nine Years
After spending a few hours talking with the system, Aziz decided to sleep.
Upon waking up, he resumed the same routine as always: breakfast, training, a bath, then back to sleep.
This cycle continued for three years, until one day, Aziz made a request that caught Astrid and Isis completely off guard.
"I want to go out for a bit. I’ve spent too much time inside the house," Aziz said right after finishing breakfast.
Upon hearing that, both Astrid and even Isis — who always stayed by his side — disagreed without hesitation.
"Why do you need to go out? It’s better to stay safe inside, with your family, my baby," Astrid said with a hurt expression.
"Yes, young master, wait until you’re older and better able to protect yourself," Isis added, opposing him for the first time.
Seeing how quickly they rejected his idea, Aziz couldn’t help but chuckle softly.
"Why are you acting like I’ll never come back? I just want to go out for a bit. I’ve been inside this house for nine years. I don’t even know what the world out there looks like," he said with a playful tone.
Thinking back on it, Astrid realized her baby had truly never set foot outside, even after all those years. Still, she didn’t feel guilty.
"Come on, it’s not like I’m going alone. You two are coming with me," Aziz reminded them, grinning.
