Chapter 795 - 794: Two Targets
The tavern opposite Heaven on Earth had closed down because the shopkeeper had dismissed the two helpers and a cook, accusing them of collaborating to embezzle the tavern’s money. The reason they weren’t turned over to the authorities was because of the shopkeeper’s kind heart.
So, by midday that very day, the two helpers and the cook, with their bags slung over their shoulders and faces of despair, left the tavern, and then they exited through the North City Gate. Once outside, they bought three red steeds and headed north.
Yusuf Zuck saw them on the official road five hundred li away, and when the three men came galloping up on their horses, Yusuf Zuck burst into hearty laughter!
"Where’s my wife?" Anais Dillon asked urgently, since his wife was with Yusuf Zuck.
"Your wife is back in your old home in Henan, keeping your parents company. So, how was it? You had a blast in the Dragon Gate World, didn’t you?" Yusuf Zuck said sarcastically.
"A blast my ass, we didn’t have any rights, I almost died!" Anais Dillon cursed angrily; he, along with Uriel Arellano and Russ Trujillo, were not as lucky as the one who got away with five mao.
"Brother-in-law, I need to tell you something, I’m not going back!" Russ Trujillo also dismounted, a look of dejection on his face.
"What’s wrong? Didn’t we agree? Why are you backing out now?" Yusuf Zuck was shocked. Hadn’t they agreed to go back together? Why wasn’t he returning now?
