Chapter 388 - 387: Reunion with Little Ross
In the room, Collins Brown and her two colleagues were so frightened that their faces turned pale. However, Miles O’Brien or Paisley Kirk and others weren’t that nervous. Having spent a lot of time with Yusuf Zuck and his crew, they had grown bolder.
"Boss, what do we do now?" Samuel Ross had knocked down the buzz-cut guy, and Grey Petty had taken down the man in the Tang suit. They then promptly pinned these two to the ground, rendering them immobile. The man in the Tang suit was grinding his teeth in fury, but he refrained from uttering any more threats.
"We’ll wait for their master to come," Yusuf Zuck squinted his eyes. Just a moment ago, he had sent out his telekinesis to do a quick scan outside and then saw two familiar faces. One was standing in the corridor, guarding the door of a private room, and the other was inside the private room, talking to a young man.
These two were none other than the little Ross and his bodyguard who had been looking for Ruth Wilcox a few days ago, and the man in the Tang suit and the buzz-cut guy were subordinates of the young man in the private room.
What a coincidence, little Ross was still in China. It seemed he hadn’t given up, and it was likely he still bore a grudge against me.
Jealousy was often the easiest thing to spark unnecessary disputes and could even lead to violent killings. And now Yusuf Zuck was embroiled in a jealousy tussle with little Ross. Given Ross’s prestigious status and wealth, how could he possibly let this go?
So, having encountered them and since they had taken the initiative to provoke him, he was ready for a showdown.
Moreover, the identity of the young man inside seemed to be quite substantial. Even from the pompous demeanor of the man in the Tang suit, it was obvious that the young man was someone of significance.
"This... this... this thing is really freaking effective. I’ve got to get myself one," said Wu Mao as he took the stun baton from Samuel Ross, crouched down, and jabbed it fiercely into the man in the Tang suit: "Yell... yell... That’s for showing off!" He was ruthless. Even with the man already lying on the ground, he kept on zapping him with the stun baton.
"Is that enough for today? We’ve pretty much finished eating, right?" suggested Miles O’Brien, proposing it was time to settle the bill and leave before stirring up more trouble.
