Chapter 360: Bank Dividends
Actually, it wasn’t even fifteen minutes before Ruth Wilcox arrived at the ninth floor with three bags and knocked on the hotel room door.
She knew that Yusuf Zuck showered quickly, and indeed he did; he hadn’t even used ten minutes for showering and brushing his teeth. When Ruth entered, he was idly fiddling with his cell phone.
"This is for you, go inside and put it on!" Ruth handed the three bags to Yusuf Zuck.
"Thank you." Yusuf nodded his head gratefully. Ruth had brought him new clothes, which meant she must have bought them in advance and simply hadn’t had the chance to give them to him until now.
"But there’s no need to go inside, right? The bathroom is damp!" Yusuf chuckled.
Ruth’s face turned red. "You wouldn’t dare!"
"Of course I wouldn’t, of course I wouldn’t." Yusuf hastily clasped his hands together in a bowing gesture and then ran into the bathroom, holding the pile of new clothes.
A short while later, Yusuf, dressed head to toe in new clothes, came out of the bathroom. Ruth was standing in the room, sizing him up.
The outfit she had bought fit Yusuf perfectly and even made him look particularly handsome.
"You’re missing a scarf, but just wear it for now. I don’t have time to go out shopping at the moment. Come over here and sit down," she beckoned Yusuf.
