Chapter 606. A Wizard
"What?" Mauve asked. She couldn’t imagine what it must have been like for Louis to watch his parents get murdered.
"You don’t have to be so dramatic. I don’t remember anything."
"Still," she paused for a bit. "It must have been awful."
"Maybe, but that wasn’t the most troubling part."
"What was the troubling part?" She asked with a soft frown.
"I couldn’t remember, not the incident, not how I got to my parents’ room, and certainly not what had killed them."
"It’s expected. You were not only a child but no one wants to remember something like that."
"Nah, it’s very odd. I remember things from when I was a baby, to not remember a single thing for something so important is even more scary than the incident itself."
Mauve adjusted in her seat. "You don’t remember a single thing."
"No, absolutely nothing. It doesn’t make any sense, and it supposedly happened a few minutes before dawn, but they weren’t found until almost noon. According to the maid, she wanted to check on me sometime during sleep time as I had a habit of wandering, and she couldn’t find me in my room, which led to a search and the discovery of my parents’ bodies."
Mauve gasped. "Where were you then?"
