Chapter 363 - 333: Creation Refines the Cauldron, Purifying the World
Wukong intended to forcibly enlighten the Ancient Heavenly Dragon with the Great Karma Technique and the Great Compassion Technique, transforming him into a Dragon Buddha of the Buddhist Sect endowed with great might and virtue!
This Buddha indeed exists in the teachings of the Buddhist Sect. All figures within it were predetermined by the Turning Wheel Sage King, including Guanyin, Pharmacist, Maitreya, Dingguang, Tathagata, and even Amitabha. These figures came to be after Amitabha Buddha summoned the Turning Wheel Sage King. Wukong is the Future Buddha, the very Turning Wheel Sage King who established all Buddhas. It’s preordained that a Dragon Buddha of the Buddhist Sect, of great might and virtue, powerful beyond measure, with an unrivalled physical form, symbolizing auspiciousness, peace, and joy, would emerge. Though such a Buddha has never been seen since ancient times, Wukong’s act of enlightening the Ancient Heavenly Dragon now fulfills the karma set forth by the Turning Wheel Sage King, attaining a Dragon Buddha of boundless merit and enormous virtue.
To enlighten is akin to brainwashing, making one incline towards Buddhism and revere its law.
"Oh, the Great Karma Technique is truly miraculous! The karma sown in obscurity by the Turning Wheel Sage King has finally come to fruition!" Wukong thought clearly and understood everything, seeing strands of Buddha’s Light on the body of the Ancient Heavenly Dragon.
Perhaps the previous incarnation of the Turning Wheel Sage King was also a terrifying entity, capable of planting the seeds of Buddhist karma on the Ancient Heavenly Dragon, the Eight Divisions of Heavenly Dragons, the one hundred and eight Great Dao Sages, and even the Great Dao Demon God. Otherwise, Wukong’s task of enlightenment would not be so easy—it would take tens or hundreds of thousands of years to accomplish.
The existence of the Turning Wheel Sage King looms in the unknown. Even though Wukong has undergone nine reincarnations and attained the status of the Turning Wheel Sage King, he still struggles to comprehend the true nature of this enigmatic figure. Known as the Future Buddha, he must have existed at some point; otherwise, the Buddhist Sect, Amitabha Buddha, and the now-enlightened Wukong wouldn’t exist.
"The Turning Wheel Sage King is born of the essence of Creation, nurtured by this essence. He is pivotal to the revolution of the world! I see the suffering of people, struggling in the Sea of Suffering. Those beneath the Creation Supreme are disturbed by various demons of the mind and desires. They fight, they suffer, they are pitiable, and they are loathsome. Therefore, I cast a sliver of Creation into that five-colored divine stone, thus bringing you, Sun Wukong, into being. Your existence is my arrangement to revolutionize the world, the Three Thousand Worlds, and the great Creation World!"
A voice slowly arose, exploding in Wukong’s mind like a chariot crushing the firmament, thunder roaring.
In that moment, Wukong understood and calmly said, "The Turning Wheel Sage King is revolution incarnate! Revolution is the Turning Wheel Sage King! The Sage King, compassionate, could not bear to see the people struggle in the Sea of Suffering and thus emerged from Creation to revolutionize the world, so that all could believe in compassion and in the rewards of goodness. Creation chose me to achieve the Turning Wheel Sage King and lead the revolution of the world, to cleanse the poison that permeates it!"
