Shen Gongbao descended the mountain, opened the gate for Wukong, and thus, Wukong ascended to the Water Curtain Cave.

Wukong replied with a clasped hands, "You jest, Brother Shen Bao. How have things been recently?"
Shen Gongbao sighed, "The Demon Tribe has put all its resources forward, and without those great powers presiding, other forces naturally covet what belongs to our tribe. Just some days ago, the Buddhist Sect sent Birupaksa and Medicine Buddha to attack the Water Curtain Cave, but each distinguished Daluo Golden Immortal from our tribe’s major families has come to Water Curtain Cave. With over a hundred Daluo Golden Immortals commanding the formation, even several founders of the sects have difficulty taking it down."
Wukong nodded slightly and walked toward the bronze great hall on the mountain with Shen Gongbao.
The various demons who saw Wukong hastily bowed in respect.
Wukong said, "You need not bow when you see me. I have said before, all beings are equal in this world!"
