Chapter 14: Echoes Of The Demon World (IV)

I stared at Xanereth and Lady Lyriath who cowered before me, my presence seemingly devouring them.
"So Voriath died?" I asked not expecting an answer, I saw what had happened in the void, I saw Voriath die. I didn’t expect it, I did not expect any of it. A human defeating a high tier demon is unheard of.
"My Lord." Xanereth began. "Please reduce your energy output. The demon world weeps."
I sighed, I reduced the intensity of my aura as something began to form a few 100 meters away from us. I saw it take shape, take form and Voriath respawned in the demon world with his back on the ground.
"I see you’ve returned. How was your time in hell?" I asked, my blood boiling. I was angry at his failure.
"It was as the name of the place sounded, hell. The devils has things they had to say but they didn’t." He replied with a respectful tone.
"They better not. They only exist because I allow them to. Their pitiful existences wouldn’t be able to withstand the full force of the demon world even if they had every devil intact." I raged.
"My king, you need to calm down. I promise you that I will get stronger and I shall make sure to put the human that made us an object of ridicule out of his misery." Voriath promised his eyes determined and serious.
"I believe you." I replied, my eyes of truth glaring at him.
"My Lord," Lady Lyriath started, "what shall we do about the human?"
