Chapter 77: Slow Sip
As Aurora joined them, Lucas moved closer, pressing a soft kiss on her forehead.
Alpha Grey’s calm demeanor made her frown in confusion.
She leaned toward Lucas, whispering, "What’s going on?"
Lucas chuckled lightly, his confidence unshaken. "I told you, we’d figure it out. Alpha Grey and I had an amicable chat."
Aurora crossed her arms, unconvinced. "My father doesn’t do ’amicable.’ He doesn’t talk to anyone he dislikes without—well, without leaving a mark. Chaos is more his style."

Aurora raised an eyebrow, skeptical of his smooth explanation. That look made Lucas sigh. "Fine. We had a bit of a... disagreement. A proper wolf fight. Claws, teeth, you name it. Even Victoria and Elizabeth couldn’t step in. But I managed to get through to him."
Her eyes widened. "And how exactly did you ’get through to him’?"
Lucas glanced away before answering, "I may have offered him a sizable piece of land from the Rossi pack."
Aurora gasped. "You what?"
"Relax, it worked." Lucas grinned, glancing over at Alpha Grey, who was now contently focusing on his golf game. "And now he’s happy to move forward with the pre-delivery rituals."
