Chapter 223 - 222. Rumble At Florian (3)
I was skipping behind the kids noticing as the other people were also converging towards the market center.
I had gotten some information from Lyall a couple of days back about this Saint but it still wasn’t much helpful. I could only get to know that the Saint was a young boy of 12 years old, probably and that he had a strong healing power that surpassed any other Healer. He was also found in a strange place that’s why everyone concluded that he was a divine being sent by the Dragons.
I had a brief description of his physical appearance and also the information that this kid never left the Temple for anything. He wouldn’t even visit the royal palace and if anyone wanted to be blessed by him then they would have to go to the Temple itself, whoever it was. So, if was kind of a big thing that he was participating in a parade where he would go and bless everyone.
It was a good thing because that way I could see him in advance.
I was just skipping at my usual pace when a strange scent reached my nostrils and my feet suddenly stopped making my eyes narrow. The acrid scent mixed with the faint hint of sulphur was quite thin in the air but it was there. I looked around and saw the fireworks that were going around.
"Ah..." I sighed and started moving again.
It was out of habit that I would be careful at the scent of gunpowder but I guess I was being a bit paranoid here.
Suddenly, my vision went woozy and the images flashed before my eyes. It was a rare occurrence to have the prophetic vision as I hadn’t had any vision for the past couple of months. My vision swam and I saw a dark cell with someone crying as they were curled up in a corner.
"Please... let me... go..." The voice whispered.
My vision turned back to normal and I blinked feeling the tears now covering my vision. I wiped my eyes and breathed deeply wondering who the kid was and why I ended up almost crying hearing his pain-filled pleas.
Before I could even make sense of the vision a notification popped in front of my eyes.
