Chapter 191: Lucas’s birth
Lucas assumed that secret was completely safe, he never knew Aurora was aware of his infidelity.
"I know a lot of things, Lucas. I know the reason you did not take my side when you could have." In truth, he was the one who betrayed Aurora by sleeping with another woman, but he knew if he defended her against the accusations, his affair with his mistress would be exposed.
"You know nothing Aurora, you can choose not to believe me but nothing is going to stop me from claiming you now. You were always mine and would always be mine," he said, his gaze, darkening as he neared Aurora.
Shaking her head, Aurora took a step back and stared at him with contempt. She should have known this was all about his ego, and he had not changed a bit. He only wants her back because he didn’t want her to be happy with another man, it was not because he was apologetic.
"I should have realized, this was never about repentance. But I am sorry to disappoint you, not even my dead body will follow you back to your pack." She promised, readying herself to move if he launched at her, as she cautiously took a few steps back.
"Then you must be foolish to have come here alone," saying that, his expression changed to that of a maniac’s own and he started chuckling that scared Aurora.
Seeing that the man in front of her was not ready to comply, she struck a deal, "Alpha Lucas, if you willingly leave my mate’s pack, I promise to keep the secret of your birth forever." Shocking Lucas with the information he thought was buried.
Halting, he frowned and asked, "How? What do you know?" Hurriedly taking a step forward to grab her arm only to be yanked off by Scarlet.
"Take your filthy hands off her!!" Scarlet yelled, baring her fingers to attack if Lucas remained adamant.
