Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night

Chapter 109: You will never be able to break me

"I do," she replied, her voice barely audible. At this point, she felt compelled to agree with whatever he said, fearing that he might turn cruel and subject her to the same torment as Sarah.

She couldn’t fathom why they were going to such great lengths to get rid of her. True, she understood that she had become an obstacle for them, but weren’t they taking things to an extreme?

Aurora had never seduced Damien or coerced him into binding her to a contract, it had been his own choice. Why weren’t they holding him accountable? She almost welled up with tears at the thought of Damien.

He turned out to be worse than she had ever imagined. She had envisioned things working out between them if Theresa’s plan succeeded, but she could never have anticipated such devastating news. What if he needed a way to get rid of her, because he felt she was tainting his reputation?

’No, stop overthinking!’ She scolded herself for overthinking but she couldn’t help thinking about the possibility of it.

He asked about her will, even though he had never allowed her to make decisions for herself. One moment, he acted like a possessive tyrant, and the next, a possessive and caring guy.

Summoning her inner strength, she prevented her tears from falling and maintained her composure. She didn’t want to appear weak or overly strong in front of her enemy. She could only show one emotion, and that was endurance.

"I am glad. Then I am offering you a deal. Would you like to hear it?" He disclosed.

"A deal?" Aurora repeated, raising her head to meet his gaze. Was he being serious right now? Offering a deal instead of conducting an investigation?

"Yes, even though you may be innocent. The future Luna was the one who caught you stealing, and I am not sure anyone would believe your words over hers," he explained, making her realize that she had no choice but to accept the deal. However, Aurora was not the type to yield to mere threats.

"Is that how things work? Does it mean that, regardless of a person’s innocence, the higher-ups have the right to determine their fate?" Irritated, she felt a surge of empowerment and questioned him with a defiant tone.
