Chapter 59: I am not okay
"Miss Aurora," Enoch called out her name as he approached her, urging her to move forward.
Aurora let out a sigh and reluctantly walked toward Damien’s direction, feeling her legs growing weak under the weight of everyone’s gaze. She couldn’t believe Damien had brought his sexual partner in front of his fiancèe’s family, it was an outrageous move.
"Greetings, my lord and Miss," Aurora said, slightly bowing to Sarah’s parents before turning to face Sarah, who seemed neither happy nor sad to see her. It was more of a curious yet unsatisfied look, and Aurora hoped it was more of disinterest rather than curiosity.
"Lady Sarah," Aurora gestured toward Sarah, returning the greeting.
As Sarah looked at Damien, she wore a questioning expression, wondering who the unfamiliar woman was. Could she be the handmaiden he had arranged for her? But she appeared too well-dressed for that role.
Damien stood beside Aurora, gripping her shoulder tightly and pulling her closer to him. "This is Aurora, my sexual partner. Aurora, meet Sarah, the future Luna," Damien introduced them with a smirk, clearly enjoying the reactions of everyone present.
Enoch shook his head, annoyed by Damien’s antics. There was no need for such an introduction, Damien was undoubtedly sending a message to Sarah to give up.
Surprisingly, Sarah didn’t appear angry. Instead, she smiled at Aurora and said, "Thanks for taking care of my husband. I hope we get along well."
Dave, who stood beside Theresa, was shocked by Sarah’s composed response and found himself growing fond of her.
