Chapter 23: New Charlotte
Damien dismissed the topic, and Enoch finally left to attend to his duties.
The following morning, breakfast was served by Aurora’s assistant, which piqued Damien’s curiosity about her whereabouts. Was she already making plans to escape, or had she already managed to escape?
"What about your chef?" He asked the maid who was serving him.
"She had an errand to run at the market, so she left early," the maid replied, then left his side to serve others at the dining table.
Dave was dressed in a royal blue suit with a turquoise blue tie, his hair neatly combed to the side, giving him a more business-like appearance. The maids couldn’t help but drool over him as they served him. They had never seen him in such a serious outfit before.
Among the two of them, Dave was the playful one who loved wearing clothes that exposed his chest or abs. He had a talent for seducing women, and many females in the pack desired to spend a night with him, even if it was just a one-night affair.
"Looking all professional this morning, aren’t we?" Enoch teased him, but Dave didn’t spare them a glance and kept his eyes glued to his phone.
"Alright, time to go," Dave declared, ready to leave the mansion. The wedding was something he was still hesitant about attending, but they couldn’t decline the invitation.
"Take it easy on Charlotte," Theresa urged, worrying about her son attending the wedding alone.
