Chapter 195: I’m Back
The tension in the room was palpable as Feng Shihan called for the vote. One by one, the board members cast their decisions. Liu Wei and Wu Yungmin watched in growing despair as the votes unanimously called for their removal.
"It’s settled then," Shihan announced, his voice firm. "Liu Wei and Wu Yungmin, you are hereby removed from the board, effective immediately. Security will escort you from the premises."
As two security guards entered the room, Liu Wei made one last desperate attempt. "You bastard! You all jumped ships!Please, you know us. We’ve worked together for years. Say something!"
The other board members looked away, everyone remained silent during the vote, looking at Liu Wei with a mixture of disappointment and resolve. "We trusted you both. But you betrayed that trust. I’m sorry, but this is the consequence of your actions."
Wu Yungmin, his earlier composure completely shattered, lashed out. "You’ll regret this, Feng Shihan! All of you! This company won’t last a month without us!"
Feng Shihan remained unperturbed. "I think we’ll manage just fine, Mr. Wu. Now, gentlemen, please leave with whatever shitty dignity you have left. Don’t make this any more difficult than it needs to be."
As Liu Wei and Wu Yungmin were led out, a somber silence fell over the room. Feng Shihan turned to address the remaining board members.
"I know y’all greedy asses had part of in this even though Liu Wei and Wu Yungmin were the culprit.
This little stunt, I hope it doesn’t happen again, I can’t guarantee what will happen to you."
The room was silent as everyone nodded, now that Feng Shihan was back every thought of usurp had been expelled.
Ms. Zhang spoke up, her voice hesitant. "Mr. Feng, what happens now? There will be questions, rumors..."
